Manage 8 technicians completing daily schedules, preventive maintenance schedules, facility monitoring, and repairs. Direct
the preventive maintenance and repairs for a 780,000 square foot facility possessing state of the art conveyance systems such
as high speed sorters, cognex camera systems, and tote routing. Monitored and maintained the shop, flammable cabinets and
power tool cabinets.

Ensure the technicians participate in regular health and safety training sessions as well as equipment workshops and
ongoing professional development

Manage the overall safety of the crew and building through consistent audits, training and communication

Maintained and trained the team on Hytrol conveyor maintenance and material handling equipment (125 units), and vehicles.
Designed, purchased and installed new and used conveyor in house. Planned and executed expansions, remodels and
supervised upgrades. Maintained HVAC, plumbing, electrical and overall grounds.
Key Contributions:

Developed a 6 person facilities team to maintain 3 warehouses exceeding 300,000 square feet, as well as a workshop,
with required tools in order to improve efficiency and turnaround times

Created preventive maintenance programs that significantly reduced down time on conveyor systems and eliminated
down time on all material handling equipment

Leased and setup two new 165,000 sq ft warehouses remodel, electrical, racking, etc.

Managed a team of more than 80 responsible for shipping / receiving and inventory management. Developed employee
morale, customer service skills, schedules, budgets, salaries, recruitment, discipline and terminations. Advanced programs at
other locations training staff on organization and programs developed on Sparks site.
