COURSE OUTLINE
This brochure provides a high level description of the Oracle – Database Administration course
offered by Lightning Minds Inc. This course is specially designed to address the needs of IT
consultant who would like to pursue their career as Oracle Database Administrator. The goal of
this course is to cover the Oracle architecture and internal mechanisms such that the student is
able to perform basic DBA tasks such as database creation, startup and shutdown, and
database management. The course also covers Oracle networking basics and the Oracle utility
programs.
