1.1 Objective and description task

The maintenance procedures have to be keyed in SAP for being assigned to the operations of
maintenance task lists. In SAP, the entry of maintenance procedures is carried out using the text
standard transaction.

No prerequisite is required.
1.3 Glossary
Standard Text : a standard text is a text saved in the system that can be assigned to various SAP
objects, in particular the operations of maintenance task lists and PM orders.

You can copy an electronic file (ie : Word format) and paste it in the central working area by
clicking on

If necessary, complete the following fields :

When you create or change a maintenance task list, you are able to attach a standard text to
each task (ie : maintenance procedure) : see the work instruction Create general task list .
