Communication and follow ups:
Daily Queries
Provision of all the client's needs and following up via telephone, e-mail, couriers and
shippers.
Handling all communication between the company and the suppliers, and maintaining
a constant relationship.
Quotations/LPOs/Invoices/Faxes
Conversing with VIP clients and making sure they are up to date with the design
process.

Prepared cost summary for projects, including the costs of labor, equipment,
materials, subcontracts, overhead, taxes, insurance, markup, and other costs
Checked orders and expedited the arrival of building materials or equipment to meet a

Dealt with all aspects of real estate which includes rentals and sales of everything,

Gaining basic PR and marketing skills. I wrote 2 articles for Arabian Homes
explaining our product to prospective buyers.
Acquired the necessary skills to push the client the extra mile, to show them that their
purchase is sound.
Was moved to the construction site of our development to co-ordinate with our sister
company, and our construction company so we are able to accompany our Buyers to the
mock up apartments.
Gained the responsibility to go up to the building myself and oversee all the
maintenance, cleaning and fittings, to make sure they run smoothly.

During my time at Gallery One I learnt a great deal and had exposure and responsibility
across almost every aspect of the business. A brief summary of my time there is below:
New business:
Pro-actively expanded Gallery One's market from consumer only to bringing in local
businesses that required decorative Art, increasing turnover and providing the opportunity to
explore a more profitable market
Actively involved in the selection and recruitment of new artists to expand and
improve the product base
I worked closely and effectively with my team to ensure that all new clients that
walked through the door benefited from each of our unique skills
Client relationship management:
Solely responsible for improving and maintaining the client database; working closely
with my team and Management to achieve this. Adding important information about their
requirements, interests and purchase behaviours
This allowed me to carry out regular communication with clients, through e-mail
newsletter and event invitations that were specifically tailored to them; increasing sales while
strengthening relationships and loyalty
Merchandising:
Responsible for the management of all merchandising in the Bahrain and Dubai
offices. Regularly visiting on the Dubai office to ensure that the quality of the displays were
maintained and compiling reports on both offices
Responsible for training junior staff how to implement the merchandising strategy

Dealing with complex queries and complaints on the telephone, by email and in

Volunteered at the Bahrain International Circuit as a Marshall for the period of three
