If you have suspended hosts at the recovery site, Site
Recovery Manager can bring them online. Also, if youre
running dev/QC/staging VMs at the recovery site, Site
Recovery Manager can suspend those VMs so no data
is lost. Site Recovery Manager then sets the target-side
storage as read-write and presents the storage to the
hosts, imports the VMs and powers them on. In a disaster,
Site Recovery Manager will still try to sync storage and
gracefully shutdown the VMs, but understands to continue
upon failure of those steps. If the recovery is a fail-back

Site Recovery Manager will resume those VMs.

Function to enable fail-back. The reprotect
sets up storage replication back the other direction. It also
reconfigures the Site Recovery Manager pairing to set the
current vCenter as the protected site and the old source
