Jeddah PCG CONDUCTS CONSULAR MOBILE SERVICES IN TABUK

On 21-22 January 2010,

the Philippine Consulate
General in Jeddah, Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia conducted its first
Consular Mobile Service for the
year 2010 in Tabuk,
approximately 1,200 kms. from
Jeddah and located in
northwestern Saudi Arabia.

The Consular Mobile

Team was composed of Vice
Consul Mary Jennifer Dingal,
Camaloden Guro, Faisal Tamano, Abundio Fiedalan and Linda Cadiang. Labor
Attache Vicente Cabe, Welfare Officer Romulado Exmundo and Mr. Fred Solayo
also joined the consular team.

The team was ably assisted by Mr. Rogelio Mendoza, Tabuk Filipino
Community Coordinator and members of the Guardians group.

During the activity, the Consular Team was able to serve some 330
Filipinos in the area. It was able to process 308 passport applications, 1 lost
passport application, 18 notarials and 3 certifications.

Despite the tight schedule for the

activity, the Consular Team successfully
accomplished its objective. This was
made possible through the hard work of
the Filipino community leaders in Tabuk
and the patience and cooperation of the
Filipino community.

The Philippine Consulate looks forward to the conduct of the next

Consular Mobile Services in the others parts of the Western Region in the hope
that it can render the much needed consular service to the Filipino citizens in
the area. On 18-19 February, the composite consular and labor team will be in
Abha, Asir Region, for the next mobile services.
