How to Survive No Homework Status

(Context 1): No homework given by the teacher on that day


(Context 2): No homework because the student was not able to accomplish it on time
COGNITIVE DOMAIN

Knowledge

(Context 1&2) The student must be knowledgeable and aware of the circumstances of
having no assignment for that day.
(Context 1) The student, despite having no homework for that day, must be able to
recognize that there could be other appropriate tasks to accomplish to make her day still
productive.

Comprehension

(Context 2) The student must predict that since the one was not able to submit any
homework on that day, then one will receive deduction from the score. In addition, there
is a great chance that a more work would be given upon having the next class
(Context 1) The student must use the time to rest the mind for a while and rejuvenate in
order to read ahead and prepare for the next session.

Application

(Context 2) The student must determine the pros and cons (advantages and disadvantages)
of having no homework ready for that dayit may serve as a warning and a wake-up call
to be more responsible.
(Context 1&2) The student must organize a schedule in order to improve and eventually
eradicate the habit of cramming and delaying work.

Analysis

(Context 1) The student must relate having no homework to having more time to work on
other things that are not school related.
(Context 2) The student must breakdown the main obstacles that are in the way of getting
work done.

Synthesis

(Context 1) The student must formulate a step by step procedure on how to avoid wasting
time (given no homework was given on that particular day)

(Context 1) The student must categorize which things should be prioritized and which are
unnecessary.

Evaluation

(Context 1&2) The student must compare the homework she has completed in advance to
reliable research and other sources of information.
(Context 1&2) The student must be able to justify the content of her homework and
criticize whether it is of good quality. With that in mind, the student must be able to edit it
properly and improve ones output.

AFFECTIVE DOMAIN

Receiving

(Context 1) The student must attend to or be aware of the possible sudden change in
circumstances as the teacher may give last minute reminders regarding homework or the
things needed for the next session.
(Context 1) The student must share whatever announcement was disseminated regarding
the homework. In addition, one may share whatever finding or information retrieved to
the other classmates.

Responding

(Context 2) The student must attend to comply with the given conditions established by
the teacher regarding no homework.
(Context 1) The student must practice perseverance and patience when homework was
given suddenly or a load of work was given on the next meeting in order to make up for
the time lost.

Valuing

(Context 1) The student must express the willingness to comply with the conditions and
accomplish the work given.
(Context 2) The student must help and reach out to those people who had trouble in
accomplishing the homework and had trouble bringing it on time.

Organization

(Context 1&2) The student must balance ones time wisely (academic and non-academic
work or personal and academic life)

Characterization

(Context 2) The student must resolve the problem of not being prepared with the
homework by improvising and finding a way to accomplish it immediately before the
deadline.

PSYCHOMOTOR DOMAIN

Imitation

(Context 1&2) The student must follow the example of her classmate who does not
procrastinate and grasp his or her habits.

Manipulation

(Context 1&2) From the reading material or subject matter, the student must create new
ideas by associating this information with his/her experiences. The student must learn
how to associate what he has learned into practical things in daily life.

Precision

(Context 1&2) The student must accurately determine what one did wrong that is why
one was not able to produce and submit the output on the said deadline.

Articulation

(Context 1&2) The student must be able to come up with a solution to the problem by
being able to integrate what one has learned with the current circumstance of having no
homework prepared and execute these resolution with smoothness and confidence.

Naturalization

(Context 2) The student must be able to incorporate these good habits into everyday life
and eradicate procrastination by exhibiting this improved behavior naturally and at ease.
