INTRODUCTON
Bullying is the main problem in school. It is the
primary problem why some students doesn`t want to go to
school. Because of the bulgy some students underestimate
their

self.

They

dont

trust

themselves

anymore,

they

became inert.
Having a too much self-confidence of the child can
make him/her to become bully, also insecurity too. Bullying
happens

everywhere

or

anywhere

though

common

in

the

workplace. Many researcher have been conducted to identify


or somehow explain such event because of its devastating
effects to the victims.
Bullying is a pattern of aggressive behavior meant to
hurt or cause discomfort to another person. Institutional
issues where there is an absence of standardized way for
people to treat each other, as a result bullying may be more
likely prevalent and have an influence on why people bully.
Racial discrimination takes when a person is treated less
favorably than another person I a similar situation because
of the race, color, descent, national or ethnic origin or
immigrant status. Individuals suffering identity confusion
manifest jealousy, envy and attention-seeking personality.
Strive for superiority and pleases for popularity they also

seeks for revenge for what happened to them the past they
also displays the same thing to others.1

This study concerns about what is bullying, its nature,
its causes and effects and what are the measures to stop
bullying in the school.

Research Method Used

This research paper will employ descriptive method of


research and case study.
When you make a detailed study about one person or
unit over a considerable period of time, you are engaging
in what is known as a case study. This method will involve
you to inquire deeper and examine thoroughly the behaviors
of a person, and also how these behavior change as the
individual adapts and reacts to his environment.
Case study may sometimes involve you with small social
units such as club, a family, a school, or any teenage
gang.

advantage,

advantage you can derive in its depth, and disadvantage as

A. The Nature of Bullying


Bullying

is

mean

hurtful

behavior

that

occurs

repeatedly in a relationship with an imbalance of power or

strength. It takes many forms-verbal, physical, relational,


and cyberbullying. Although schools are doing more to deal
with bullying, parents are still the key to empowering kids
to prevent and stop it.
Bullying is also a form of abuse, be it emotional.it

repeated

manipulative

behavior

and

increasingly

towards asserting power over another individuals or group.


The most important aspect of bullying and the aspect that
is often misunderstood by ADUTS is that IMBALANCE OF POWER

Verbal bullying

name-calling, threating, and making disrespectful comments
about someone`s attributes (appearance, religion, ethnicity,
sexual orientation; etc.).

Physical bullying
Bullying

kicking,

intimidation,

tripping,

blocking,

pushing, and touching in unwanted and inappropriate ways.


Relational bullying

of a group, whether it`s a lunch table, game, sports, or
social activity.
Cyber bullying
Bullying in cyberspace, involves haranguing someone by

C. Causes of Bullying

D. Effects of Bullying

*Feel disconnected from school and dislike school.
*Get into fights, vandalize property and leave school early,

*Starts alcohol and drugs abuse in adolescence and as
adults.
*Engage in early sexual activity ad become vulnerable to
child sexual abuse and sexually transmitted infections.
*Bullies may become abusers toward their spouse and child.
In addition, recent Victorian research has shown that
bullying

increased likelihood of theft, violent behavior and bulge
