RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides related photography services, which include covering official events and
functions, product shoot, studio shoot, as well as related indoor and outdoor
photography to be used in promotional publications such as advertisements,
bulletins, magazines, research reports, brochure banners, posters and online
publications such as online newsletters, social network channels, staff enrolment
record etc.
Identifies the right angle and moment which can be used to tell a compelling story.
Ensures the output (photographs) follows the standard rules of photography, with the
necessary editing and touch-up, post-effect processes, incorporating quality and
latest photography technique.
Archives the photographs in proper order.
Able to listing, reviewing, streamlining and updating photography related equipment
and activities also able to Oorganise, monitor and coordinates special photography
projects as well as solve problems related to photography.
Ensures the implementation of upgrading and maintenance activities of studio and
photography equipment by keeping abreast with current photography trends and
technology.
Develop, maintain and updates list of spare parts supplier/workshop/vendor and
ensure the maintenance schedules are met, and make recommendations to write-off
irreparable or unserviceable equipment.
zing, monitoring, co-ordinating and problem solving in getting sure projects
undertaken to complete successfully.
Able to identify the right angle and moment of event which can be used to tell the
compelling story and providing technical support and equipment to unscheduled
event and function which is not covered.
Able to work closely with Human Resource Development in keeping with the new
staff enrolment.
Ensure the implementation of upgrading and maintenance activities on studio and
photography equipment by keep abreast with the current technology and
photography.
Able to develop, maintain and update list of spare parts supplier/workshop/vendor
and ensure the maintenance schedules are met and made recommendation of writeoff for irreparable or unserviceable equipment also prepare report for top
managements.
Able to ensure the output contents such as follow the standards rules of
photography, edit and clean up the unnecessary object, post effect processes the

quality and latest photography style also providing training and consultancy related
to photography activities that represents SIRIM image.
REQUIREMENTS:
Possess a minimum Diploma in Photography Technology or equivalent in related
field.
Some experience in providing photography services in media agencies or related
activities would be an advantage.
Sound knowledge of SIRIMs principles, policies and procedures.
Good corporate affairs, public relations or journalism principles as a well as
concepts and practices.
Mature thinking in all action and possess good leadership and team building
quality.
Understands the techniques and protocol for the conduct of special events and
able to envision the critical situation of events and transforming them into
pictorial story.
Aware of express environment, both locally and internationally which may affect
the company.
GVery good communications skill, both spoken and written, as well as
presentation and interpersonal skills.
