Come to the
Parish Hall this
weekend following
the 8am and 10am
Masses for our
Monthly Pancake
Breakfast!

March 20, 2016

Representatives of the Parish

Pastoral Council are present at
each Pancake Breakfast to listen
to your comments and concerns
about our parish. They will
bring any issues that you may
have back to the council at the
next meeting.

There is no charge for the breakfast which

includes pancakes, sausage, coffee, fruit and fruit
juice. However, free will offerings to help defray
expenses will be gratefully accepted.

One of the questions you may have is what goes on in

the PPC meetings? Well, the answer to that is you are
more than welcome to come and find out. Any
registered parishioner is welcome to attend these
meetings. Any one you know might be interested in
becoming a council member yourself. We are always
looking for people who want to give their time to the
parish. Watch the bulletin calendar for the date of the
next meeting and come and join us.

Easter Sunday
Clergy Benefit Trust Collection
Every Easter, we join with family and friends to honor
and thank our priests. Our 614 diocesan priests
celebrate our joys, comfort us in times of crisis or
sorrow, and are there during the ordinary and
extraordinary moments of life. Remember priests such
as Father Beaulieu, Father Messina, and Father
McGowan who have made a meaningful difference in
your life, and consider honoring them with a generous
gift to this weekends collection. Our priests have
dedicated their lives to serving us. Now, it is our turn to
fulfill the promises made to care for them in their time
of need. Thank you for your prayerful and generous
support of our priests.

presentation, as we reflect on the Passion of the Lord.
At each station characters from history and modern

events in their own lives. Please come and bring your
family and friends. This is a wonderful opportunity for
people of all ages to reflect on the journey of Our Lord
to the Cross and how we might follow in his footsteps.

DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY PROMISE

The message and devotion to Jesus as The Divine Mercy is
based on the writings of Saint Faustina Kowalska, a Polish nun
who, in obedience to her spiritual director, wrote a diary of
about 600 pages, recording the revelations she received about
Gods Mercy:

Youth Group News

Wednesday Morning Mass: Come to the 6:45am

Mass Wednesday, Mar ch 23rd for our last Mass &
Breakfast with Sal for this Lenten season!!
Mon., March 21: Cor Unum Meal Center (3:00-7:30pm)
Lawrence, MA
Wed., Apr. 6: Youth Council (7:00-9:00pm) in
the Parish Center. All teens welcome!

The Sacraments of Penance and Eucharist are special

fountains of Mercy which should be received frequently with
great trust and love (Diary, 914,1602). To emphasize the
importance of these two great miracles of mercy our Lord
made their reception a condition for obtaining his promise on
the Feast of Divine Mercy Sunday. (The First Sunday after
Easter) The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy
Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and
punishment. (Diary, 699)

powerful, dramatic interpretation of the Passion of Our
Lord, Jesus Christ, during the Good Friday Service at

drama; a beautiful way to help you and your family prepare
to celebrate Easter.

Divine Mercy Novena

Novena Dates April 3-11
(Feast Day, April 12)
I fly to Your Mercy, Compassionate
God, Who alone are good. Although
my misery is great and my offenses are
many, I trust in Your mercy because
You are the God of Mercy, and it has
never been heard of in all ages, not do
Heaven or earth remember, that a soul
trusting in Your Mercy has been
disappointed. (State your intentions.)
Jesus, Friend of a lonely heart, You are my haven. You are
my peace. You are my salvation. You are my serenity in
moments of struggle and amidst an ocean of doubts. Amen.
(Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be.)

ADORATION OF THE
MOST BLESSED SACRAMENT

When He returned, He found them asleep. He said to Peter,

"Simon, are you asleep? Could you not keep watch for one
hour?"
Mark 14:37

Come and spend the most peaceful hour (or part of an

hour) of your week with Jesus. Each Friday after the 9
AM Mass the Blessed Sacrament is exposed upon the
altar (Lower Church). The recitation of the Chaplet of
Divine Mercy will take place at 3:00pm, followed by
reposition. Please join us. We are committed to having
at least two persons present at all times of Adoration.
There is a sign-in book in the Gathering Room near the
entrance to the Mary Chapel. If you can commit just one
hour or more, please call Ursula Koslowski at 781-7296170 or email ukos42@verizon.net

As you extend these branches to be blessed, think about your

homes where they will be displayed. For we are blessing not
only these palms, but the lives which they will bear witness in
coming year. Carry your branch high today as a sign of the
Christian life

Josephine Russo

As I look at the blessed palms that declare Jesus mercy, whom

must I take the initiative to forgive from the heart, sharing this
unconditional mercy?
