BuildsforeverysupportedNetHunterdevice
happeneverynightthatthereisachangeinthe
repository,sometimesmorethanonceperdayif
thechangeisimportant.
Youmaywanttocheckthetimestamp(inEastern
StandardTime)toseeifthereisanewbuild
availableonthesameday,shouldyourcurrentone

haveanyissues.
ThesebuildsareNOTAromaenabled,however,it
shouldbenoissuetojustdragappsyoudon'tneed
totheuninstallbuttoninyourappdrawer.
Aromasupportisgoingtobephasedoutfora
while,especiallywithnewTWRPreleasescoming
outsoonthatmayhavenewerkernelsthataren't
compatiblewithAroma.

Kernelonlyinstallersareinthekernelonly
directoryinsideeachbuilddirectory.Itmightbea

BEFOREINSTALLING
Pleasemakesureyourphonebootsfinebefore
flashingNetHunter.
TheKalichrootandappsareinstalledonyourdata
partition(in/data/localforchroot).Toinitializethe
chrootandinstallKaliLinux,youneedtostartthe
KaliNetHunterapp.
IfyouwantthefullorminimalKalichrootincluded
intheinstaller,youcanflashthearmhfgeneric
kalifszipfileafteryourdevicespecificone.
IfyouareusingaMultiROMmod,makesurethat
theROMyouwantNetHunteronisyourmainROM
beforeinstalling.NetHunterneedstowritetoyour
bootpartition,yoursystempartition,andyourdata
partition.
IfyouarealreadyrootedonaMarshmallowROM,
orknowyouhavesystemlessSuperSUinstalled,
youwillneedtogointotheSuperSUappanddoa

fullunrootthenreflashCyanogenMod13.0or
AndroidstockfactorysystemimageandGapps.
ThisNetHunterinstallerdoesnotplaywellwith
systemlessSuperSUatthetime.

recommended,andmaybreaktheNetHunterapp

WhileIdobuildsforeverydevicesupported
officiallybyNetHunter,andmyowndevicesas
well,it'sactually(usually)possibletoinstall
NetHunteronacompletelyunsupporteddevice!
Youwillfindinthenightlydirectories,abuildcalled
genericarmhf.Genericarmhfbuildscanbeflashed
onanydeviceaslongastheyarearmhf
compatible.
Genericbuildsdonotreplacethekernel,theyonly
modifytheramdiskforSuperSU,extendedterminal
support,andinit.dsupport.
Alongwiththeramdiskmodifications,theyinstall
thefullKaliNetHunter.
BynotusingaNetHunterkernel,youwillbeunable
tousetheHIDgadgetkeyboard/mousefunctions,
packetinjection,orUSBOTGWiFicards.
Youwillhoweverhavealltheappsandchroot.
Somefunctionsmaybebroken.
WhileIdon'tadviseinstallingNetHunteronan
unsupporteddevice,thisisagoodalternativeto
dangerouslytryingtorunanotherdevice's
NetHunterinstalleronyourdevice.
Ontopofallthat,genericbuildscanbeusedfor
upgradingyourNetHunterinstallationifyou've
alreadyinstalledyourdevicespecificNetHunter

optiontoreturntoasystemfreeofrootorNetHunter.
UsethelargebuttonsinTWRPinterfacetonavigateandbackupyoursystem,data,andboot
partitionwithease.
SinceTWRPisonitsownrecoverypartition,itshouldbeaccessiblenomatterhowbadyour
systemgetsmessedup.
STEP5:FLASHKALINETHUNTER
