Baby Kings Birth Plan

Mother: Elizabeth
Father: Matt
Midwife: Lydia Rhodes
Doula: Kelly Langfeldt
Nurse: I would appreciate being assigned a nurse who enjoys working with couples who have prepared for a natural birth.
Matt and I look forward to a wonderful experience here at Bergan. We desire a labor and delivery free from medical
intervention, including induction. We respectfully request the following of the sta, if no emergencies arise.
I am prepared to use self-hypnosis to manage my birthing time and may not be immediately responsive to questions during
pressure waves. Please wait until my pressure wave ends and my eyes open to converse, or speak directly to Matt.
Labor:
No Pitocin/induction methods
No IV
External Intermittent Fetal Monitoring over constant Electronic Fetal Monitoring.
Avoidance/minimal vaginal checks. I prefer not to be informed of my progress in dilation.
I will wear my own birthing clothes rather than a hospital gown.

I prefer to only have Matt, Lydia, Kelly, and our Nurse in the birthing room. No students please.
