article and do the task. Monitor
while they work. Check. If needed,
review the Grammar Section on
page 209 in the Student's Book
(page 212 in your Teacher's Book)
to reinforce usage of both forms.

3 (DAY)
Let's play "Future Lottery!" Your
teacher will say a number and read a
sentence out loud for you to choose the
correct option to complete the
sentence. When the game is over, the
person with the more correct answers
is the winner! Divide students into
groups and make sure instructions are
understood. Demostrate it once, before
you start playing. Winners share their
sentences with the class. There might be
a little disagreement and discussion in the
use of will and going to in these
situations. Accept different answers, as
long as students can justify their claims.

1
Listen again and fill the chart.

Read and circle) the correct
future tense form: will or going
to to complete the dialog.
Remember: will is for events not

use will for offers or decisions
made at the moment of speaking,
and going to when our decision
has already been made. Read the
answers out loud as you check
with
your
teacher
and
classmates. Students fill in the
gaps with the correct verb form.
Invite volunteers to read the
completed text out loud. Attract
students' attention to the
contraction of will.

partner and write on a single sheet of
paper ten incomplete sentences about
your plans for the weekend. Exchange
sheets with your partner and complete
the sentences. I he first person to finish

pairs and make sure the instructions
are understood. Demostrate in it once
before they work on their own. Lead a
