CO2 : Apply the basic principles and methods associated with TQM; [PO1,LO1, SS1]{C3}
Assignment 1
You are required to examine the difference between manufacturing and service sectors in order
to implement the total quality management (TQM) concept to increase the quality performance.
The comparison should critically discussed the potential tools and techniques that can be adapt
for both sectors. The element of the position of leadership also need to be explained in term of
the characteristics of effective leader beside consideration in implementing the concept of
continous improvement for quality enhancement.
Guidelines:

Length of the report: The write-up must be at least 1500 words (excluding Title page,
Illustrations, Appendix, and References).
