1. Overview
In the Republic of Moldova there are around 65 000 of families with
vulnerabilities. In the context of economical, political and social instability this
number is constantly growing. However, only 17 000 families get help from local
or state institutions. These numbers show inefficiency of the current system. Thats
exactly the reason why the community should take action in order to help improve
our society.
Help the one in need is a social initiative with the primary goal to provide
financial, material and spiritual support for families with vulnerabilities. This
project will unite volunteers with different backgrounds, professions and age. This
social programs aim is to satisfy families primary needs.
As the result of this project many families will have possibility to feel
connected to the society by receiving not just support, but also help in the various
domains.
2. Implementation method and Requirements
First Help the one in need social initiative ideas will be spread through
social networks and media platforms. Facebook group and page will help to spread
the idea at least to a part of Moldovan users (from around 570 000). Potential
volunteers will be informed through Youtube videos about the situation regarding
poverty and its impact on the families. As soon as the project gets recognition on
the media with the support of other NGOs we will start recruitment. Any person
willing to help will be welcomed in our team. All volunteers will be divided in
groups of 5-7 people. In the beginning the project is expected to have 3 initiative
groups. Each group will have a specific task, which will help to reach the main
goal.
Help the one in need will organize charity events of various kinds in order
to raise funds that will be divided for different purposes: food, clothes, toys and
school supplies. Clearly we will organize donation boxes in different public and
private institutions. Our volunteers will provide answers to all the questions.
People will have possibility to donate things or money through our donations
boxes, messages on social media (in this case we will help with transportation),
web money or www.kickstarter.com (worlds largest funding platform).
Also, HON will sell concert tickets (for charity concerts organized by our
volunteers), works of art and dishes. All these things will be collected from people
willing to participate in concerts, making art for charity or cooking food for sale.
Money collected with the help of these events will be spent on necessary supplies

for the families and a small part will be taken for administrative costs (transport,
bags, snacks for our volunteers etc.). Reports about organizations activity will be
posted on social platforms. All donors and people involved in the project will get
handmade bracelets with the organizations logo. Furthermore all names will be
listed in special messages across social networks.

3. Expected outcomes
Help the one in need will be a project strictly based on help from
volunteers and donors. As a result of our activity we hope to help at least of all
the families with the vulnerabilities in the local communities. This is possible if
volunteers from different cities and villages are willing to open local offices. We
expect anyone who wants to change their local community to take this initiative to
their home city or village. The project will grow gradually from small program to
an organization in every city of the Republic of Moldova. This is one of the
greatest ways to unite local communities and integrate people from different social
backgrounds into the society. People will be able to get rid of all the unnecessary
stuff by helping people who need it and exercise their talents for the greater good.
