The nursery season will run from April 30-June 26th.

HOURS OF OPERATION
Wednesday-Friday: 10-6
Saturday and Sunday: 9-5
Please note that Grandview will be CLOSED Mondays and Tuesdays to allow for
our own extensive tree replanting!
Bareroot stock is available pre-order only and must be picked up between April
30 - May 8th. No shipping is available.
Grandview will have a selection of fruit trees, small fruits and shade trees. We will also offer a very limited
selection of perennial flowers and grasses. Some of Lisas favorite heirloom veggie starts will be available
along with some seed from Seed Savers Exchange!
Pollinators: Some plants require a pollinator which means you need two different varieties of that species.
Also, the more plant diversity you have, in general (trees, flowers, etc.), the better chance you have of
attracting pollinizers (i.e. bees, hummingbirds, etc.) which will help pollination.
Tree Warranty: Trees and perennial fruits (excluding strawberries and raspberries) are warrantied through
October 31rst of 2016 assuming careful, proper planting and care of the plant. Insect damage, rodent/deer
damage, acts of nature (wind, hail, lightening, etc.), mechanical damage or poor management will not be
covered. If the tree does not leaf out or it dies, a one-time replacement will be provided the following Spring.
However, Grandview Orchard must be notified by October 31rst, 2016 and the dead plant with the plant tag
and receipt must be presented to pick up the replacement. NO EXCEPTIONS. No more than one plant per year
per customer will be replaced. If you have multiple plant failures, we welcome a discussion to try to help
troubleshoot the problem. We want you to be successful with your plants!
Planting Zones: Please check to see that you are purchasing trees that are suitable for your zone. Grandview is
located in Zone 4A. However, there are some areas near Antigo that are Zone 3b. Please ask if youre unsure
how to tell which zone youre in or which stock is suitable. I will be glad to help!
Please stay tuned for a greatly expanded nursery selection in 2017! If there are other types or varieties of
plants youd like to see available in the future, please let me know! Thank you for considering Grandview and
Im looking forward to meeting or reconnecting with you this year!
*Frozen apple cider and delicious apple pies along with a selection of local honey and maple syrup will be
available at the orchard during nursery season!*

Apple Tree Sizes and pricing
The apple trees are $24 for bare root and $35 potted. However, there are several trees priced at $21 for bare
root and $32 potted. These trees are a slightly smaller caliper size (trunk size), but will still grow to be the
same size that coordinates with the root stock. Please note that apple trees require another variety for a
pollinator. The trees listed here will generally work for each other because there is enough overlap in bloom
time with northern hardy varieties. However, there are several varieties noted that will not work for each
other.
