And the Holy Spirit helps us in our

weakness. For example, we dont

know what God wants us to pray
for. But the Holy Spirit prays for
us with groaning that cannot be
expressed in words.

And this hope will not lead to

disappointment. For we know
how dearly God loves us,
because he has given us the
Holy Spirit to fill our hearts
with his love.

1Then Moses and the people of

Israel sang this song to
the LORD: I will sing to
the LORD, for he has triumphed
gloriously; he has hurled both
horse and rider into the sea.

2 The

LORD is my strength and

my song; he has given me
victory. This is my God, and I
will praise him my fathers
God, and I will exalt
him3 The LORD is a warrior;
Yahweh is his name!

4 Pharaohs

chariots and army

he has hurled into the sea.
The finest of Pharaohs officers
are drowned in the Red Sea.
5 The deep waters gushed over
them; they sank to the bottom
like a stone.

PSALM 9:1-11
1I

will praise you, LORD, with all

my heart; I will tell of all the
marvelous things you have
done. 2 I will be filled with joy
because of you. I will sing
praises to your name, O Most
High.

3 My

enemies retreated; they

staggered and died when
you appeared. 4 For you
have judged in my favor;
from your throne you have
judged with fairness.

5 You

have rebuked the nations

and destroyed the wicked; you
have erased their names
forever. 6 The enemy is
finished, in endless ruins; the
cities you uprooted are now
forgotten.

7 But

the LORD reigns forever,

executing judgment from
his throne. 8 He will judge
the world with justice and
rule the nations with
fairness.

9 The

LORD is a shelter for the

oppressed, a refuge in times of
trouble.10 Those who know your
name trust in you, for you,
O LORD, do not abandon those
who search for you. and rule the
nations with fairness.

11 Sing

praises to
the LORD who reigns in
Jerusalem. Tell the world
about his unforgettable
deeds.

1 Praise

the LORD! Praise God in

his sanctuary; praise him in
his mighty heaven! 2 Praise
him for his mighty works;
praise his unequaled
greatness!

3 Praise

him with a blast of the

rams horn; praise him with the
lyre and harp! 4 Praise him with
the tambourine and dancing;
praise him with strings and
flutes!

5 Praise

him with a clash of

cymbals; praise him with loud
clanging cymbals. 6 Let
everything that breathes sing
praises to the LORD!
Praise the LORD!
