Antenatal care is very important for an overall healthy and hassle free pregnancy.
It consists of visit to a gynecologist. Through antenatal visits, one can spot the
problem, if any beforehand and thus they can be corrected.
What is antenatal care
Antenatal care is the consultations you have with your gynecologist about yourself
and the baby during the nine months of pregnancy. It is important that you make
these visits regularly and from early on in your pregnancy. Your doctor will
arrange to ensure you are properly cared for during the months leading up to
your baby's birth. At each visit, your doctor will help you, to spot possible
problems before they start and to check that all is well with you and your baby.
Antenatal care may also involve visits to your doctor's surgery or health center or
to a hospital antenatal clinic.

What generally takes place during a visit to a gynecologist

You will be given a number of different tests. For example, you will be weighed to
check how your baby is growing. Your blood will be tested to make sure you are

check how your baby is growing. Your blood will be tested to make sure you are
not anaemic and to find out your blood group. You may also be examined
internally to check that your womb and the baby are developing normally. This is
perfectly safe and nothing to worry about. Going to the clinic will also give you a
good chance to discuss your questions and worries with experts. Do not hesitate
to ask them, however silly the question may seem. It is better to make a list of
what you want to ask before you go.

i'm 27 yrs old girl very soon i'm getting married i have a some questions:
1. if u sex with ur partner very first time is there any chances to getting pregnant??
2.after completion of monthly period from that day (may be on 3rd or 4th day ) if u
had sex with ur partner is there any chances to getting pregnant??
(i read somewhere after completion of period from that day upto seven
days..betweeen these days if u had sex with ur partner pregnency chances are
less
may be not coming.. its safe) can u tell me plzzzzzzzz.
3.its my personal problems means some white colourless sticky things (like water)
or sometimes
white thick things coming out from my vagina..what all are this?? is this any
dangerous problem to affect my future married life?? can u help me and give me
some suggestion.

hi... i had sex and was having the pains in my stomach it did not fill like minstral
pain but i started bleeding the next morning and was not suppose to star for
another week or two.. can i be preganant i was told that bleeding was a sign of
that..

there is a test called velocit in india. it does not have any waiting time of 30 mins.

60 days passed for me. but preg color card test shows the second line very
light.what are the reasons?.i am taking hormone tablets. please advise in this

im not sure how along i am bu i took a test and i took 2 of then and they both said i
was pregnant and i have pains in my lower stomach, as if it were constapation, but i
havent been pregnant for 3 months is this normal or could i be having a
miscarridge or could i have had one..

there is a home test called velocit by dr reddy's lab available in india - even the docs
suggest that - the results can be seen within a minute although the kit says 5
mins....
