Weibull techniques enable you to examine any type of failure data you have collected. You can use Weibull tools to effectively analyze all types of system life
data, including mechanical, chemical, electronic, material, and even human failure
data. You can then use your real-world field data to predict trends and analyze
your system reliability. Relex Weibull provides full Weibull analysis capabilities in
a powerful statistical tool wrapped in a friendly and flexible user interface. Relex
Weibull has a broad range of applications and can be applied to any industry or
process with ease. It moves the complexity of the statistical methodology into a
powerful behind-the-scenes engine, allowing you to more accurately and efficiently
analyze your life data.
Data distribution analysis. Once data has been collected, you can use Relex Weibulls
built-in distribution analyzer to determine which statistical distribution best fits your data. Relex
Weibull supports the popular Weibull distribution, as well as a wide range of additional distributions such as Exponential, Normal, Lognormal, Gumbel, Rayleigh, and WeiBayes, to ensure
that your analysis is as accurate as possible. You can select your distribution type or allow Relex
to optimally determine it for you.
Reliability growth. One of the most significant features included in Relex Weibull is the
ability to assess and evaluate statistics for reliability growth planning. Relex Weibull reliability
growth features supports the widely accepted Duane/Crow-AMSAA methodology for performing
reliability growth analyses. The Duane/Crow-AMSAA model can be used to track critical parameter
rates such as warranty cost, outages, fires, and accidents.
The Relex Architect platform. Relex Weibull includes all the advanced features of Relex
Architects robust, proven framework. A rich user interface is coupled with innovative features
such as the invaluable Project Navigator for centralized Project control, the Relex Bar for customized one-click operations, the Task List for quick access to commonly used tasks, and data
filtering for ultimate user control of data views. Comprehensive reporting capabilities include
easy-to-use Report and Graph Wizards for complete user customization of output reports and
graphs. Relexs Import/Export Wizard enables you to transfer your Project data to and from
Relex in a variety of popular formats, including Microsoft Excel and Access. Additionally,
Relex Architect modules are built on a common database, for optimal product integration and
data sharing capabilities.
Weibull plots. Weibull results are presented in standard Weibull plot outputs.
You can plot all data points for several data sets on one graph, along with the
associated estimated distribution curves. You can optionally add in confidence
intervals and the characteristic parameters of the resulting distributions.

Complete capabilities. Relex Weibull goes beyond analyzing data sets, augmenting these fundamental activities
with a broad range of product-enhancing functions. The built-in test planning calculator offers the ability to do test planning based on parameters you define. The general Weibull statistics calculator provides a wide range of useful statistical
functions that can expand your Weibull studies or can be used as a powerful, stand-alone statistical function calculator.
The optimal replacement feature enables you to perform replacement analyses on your system. Relex Weibull also provides a Barringer process reliability analysis function for analyzing processes that have considerable opportunities for
improvements. Relex Weibull augments its analysis capabilities by supporting the most commonly used parameter estimation methods including
Benard, binomial, mean, Hazen, maximum likelihood (MLE), and modified
maximum likelihood (MMLE). Additionally, Relex Weibull supports several
methods for computing confidence intervals including modified Fisher
matrix, likelihood ratio, binomial, and Monte Carlo (pivotal).
Versatile toolset. Relex Weibull incorporates extra features to supplement the stan-
dard Weibull analytics. Some handy functions include a general statistical calculator,
an optimal replacement wizard, and a test planning calculator. The Barringer process
reliability function takes you step-by-step through the data collection process necessary
for computing and improving the reliability of your process.
