Case One - Flash Baked
---------------------Superla Spa
From your starting position, click towards the two baths. Examine the left mud b
ath and Sara will comment on the difference between the two. Before leaving this
area, click towards the smoky part of the wall in-between the baths and process
it with the collection tool to receive Soot from Near Mud Baths at Spa.
Back out once and scroll to the right until you see a rock with a hole in the mi
ddle. Click on it and use casting to receive Plaster Cast of Two Different Holes
in Drywall at Spa.
Back out again and head into the kitchen behind Baxa. Click towards the microwav
e, open it and click on the muffin to pick up Burnt Substance, Probable Ignition
Source from Toaster in Spa.
Back out and click towards the ceiling. Click on the open tile to collect Chemic
al from the Ceiling of the Spa.
Back out and check the smoky wall at the left side of the room. Examine it with
the Collection Tool to receive Soot from Break Room at Spa.
Back out again and head into the room just left of the wall you've just examined
. To the right of the boiler is the last smoky wall. Process the Soot with the C
ollection Tool to receive Soot from Boiler Room at Spa.
Back away from the wall and click on the gas line just in front of the middle ta
nk. Process either side of the severed gas line with your Casting Tool to receiv
e Markings From Severed Gas Line at Spa.
Finally, back out to the bath area. Talk to Pete Baxa and question him about eve
rything. After you've finished questioning him, you'll receive Pete Baxa's Busin
ess Card. A cutscene will play out, after which you will be examining one of the
mud baths with the ultrasound device. Examine top area of the bath until the sk
ull is clearly visible to discover the victim.
You'll then automatically arrive at the morgue...
Morgue
It'll take a while for Robbins to perform the autopsy, so we'll be heading to th
e lab to analyse what we've found so far. Before heading to the lab, click on yo
ur PDA and select evidence followed by Pete Baxa's Business Card. Use the finger
print tool between Steady and Barber to receive Pete Baxa's Fingerprint.
Main Lab
Before analysing the chemicals, we'll explore the lab for thoroughness points. H
ead into the room on the left and examine the Video/Audio computer on the wall.
You can also check the finger prints computer for more points, but since it's a
mandatory location for this case, it's not necessary yet.
Back out to the starting point and click towards the elevator for more points. B
ack out again and head into the room on the right. There are four thoroughness a
reas here. First, examine the table in the middle of the room and then the photo
evidence board. Next, examine the computer near the entrance of the room. While
we're here, we'll examine the evidence we collected from the Spa. Click on Chem
ical and input the following:

Soot from Near Mud Baths at Spa - 2, 4

Burnt Substance, Probable Ignition Source from Toaster in Spa - 1, 5, 6
Chemical from the Ceiling of the Spa - 1, 5, 6
Soot from Break Room at Spa - 1, 3
Soot from Boiler Room at Spa - 1, 2, 3
After analysing everything you'll receive a call from Dr. Robbins telling you th
at the autopsy is complete. The final thoroughness point in the lab is the other
computer. Since we'll be using it later on, there isn't any point in using it r
ight now. Off to the Morgue..
Morgue
Examine the tray behind the victim's head for thoroughness points. Ask Robbins a
bout everything and you'll receive Victim's Ten Card.
Click towards the victim for more thoroughness points and to examine her arm. Cl
ick on her shoulder and select the camera to photograph the bruise and receive P
icture of Bruises on Victim's Arm.
Talk to Robbins again until you've asked everything. Return to the lab.
Main Lab
Run the victim's fingerprint and DNA to discover she's not in CODAS or AFIS. We
still don't know here identity. Maybe Pete Baxa knows her and can help us out? C
lick on your PDA, locations and select the newly added location, Barber Shop, Pe
te Baxa's Office.
Barber Shop
Simply knock on the door. Tell him there was a body in the Spa and ask about eve
rything else. He knows who the victim is but will come down to identify the body
and answer some questions anyway.
Interrogation Room
Ask him if she had any reason to start the fire. When he denies there being any
Asbestos sources, use the asbestos you analysed to contradict him. Ask him about
everything else.
A new location, Victim's Loft, will appear on your PDA. Let's check it out.
Victim's Loft
Or not. After the cutscene plays out you will be teleported back to the interrog
ation room.
Interrogation Room
Question Brian Reid about everything. When he claims he would never hurt her, us
e the photo of the bruising to contradict him. Ask him about everything else. We
're done here for the moment. Time to inspect the victim's loft, for real this t
ime.
Victim's Loft
Examine the shoe print on the step with your camera to receive Shoe Print from V
ictim's Loft. Inspect it again, this time with your collection tool, to collect
Chemical from Shoe Print in Victim's Loft.
Click towards the door twice and use casting on the broken door handle to receiv
e Markings from the Door to Portia Weissman's Loft.
Move into the kitchen and check the drawer under the oven to receive Pads of Fin
ancial Records Showing that Superla Spa Did Little Business.

Pick up the tool in the middle of the room to receive Firefighter's Tool, Taken
from Brian Reid. After picking up the tool, you'll receive a message from Brass
about Reid's former employment, firefighting. There are some beads north of your
current location. Inspect them to obtain Hair from Bead Curtain in Portia Weiss
man's Loft.
We now have all the evidence from this area, but we'll look around some more for
more thoroughness points. Go into the living room and take a look at the comput
er to notice it's missing a hard drive. Finally, head up the ladder and then ret
urn to the lab to process everything.
Main Lab
Run the Chemical from Shoe Print in Victim's Loft through chemical analysis. 2,
3, 4 is the correct sequence.
Move over to the macroscope and compare the following:

We now have a bit more evidence against Brian. Let's return to the interrogation
room...
Interrogation Room
Question Brian until he claims not to have broken the door. Contradict him with
the door markings. When he claims he would never set a fire, contradict him with
the spa hole markings. Continue to question him.
Time to go back to the Barber's.
Barber Shop
Knock on the door. Baxa will remark about cutting himself shaving and throw bloo
dy tissue by the broom, we'll get to that in a moment. Check near the broom to p
ick up Tissue with Pete Baxa's Blood on it. Open up your evidence and examine th
e tissue with the Collection Tool to receive Sample of Pete Baxa's Blood.
Main Lab
Go to the DNA Analysis Computer and compare the hair from Portia's loft with Pet
e Baxa's blood. A warrant will now be available from Brass.
Brass' Office
Before you can obtain the warrant, there will be a lengthy conversation about La
Reina de la Colmena which relates to our current case. Now you can request the
warrant. Use Pete Baxa's to successfully obtain the warrant. Off to the Barber's
shop.
Barber Shop
Enter and check the desk to find Portfolio with Portia Weissman's Records of Sup
erla Spa's Finances. Open the portfolio from your evidence and process the white
area to find Fingerprint from the Ledger in Pete Baxa's Office. Before moving o
n pick up the Package of Vegan Blueberry Muffins and Hard Drive from Computer at
Barber Shop.
Open the drawers to the right of the desk and pick up Tax Forms Claiming Large I
ncome from Superla Spa. You'll have to scroll to the right slightly.
Make your way into the next room and pick up Shoes from Barber Shop. Use the col
lection tool on the bottom of the shoes to collect Chemical Found on Shoes from
Barber Shop. Check to the left of the upper laces to find Fingerprint found on S

hoes from Barber Shop.

Check the top shelf to find A Jug Labelled Acetone. Move over to the lower right
shelf to find a toolbox. Examine the bottom right area of the box to pull . Ope
n the toolbox and click on the shears to receive Plumbing Shears from Toolbox in
Barber Shop.
Finally in the corner there is another Fire Fighting Tool. Pick it up to receive
Denver Tool Found at the Barber Shop. Open the tool from within your evidence a
nd examine near the handle to collectFingerprint from Denver Tool Found at the B
arber Shop. You should now be at 100% thoroughness.
Main Lab
Head to the Fingerprint Analysis Computer and compare the following:
Portia's Fingerprint and the Ledger Fingerprint. The bottom left print is the co
rrect match.
Pete's Fingerprint and the Fingerprint on the shoes. The top right print is the
correct match.
Portia's Fingerprint and the Fingerprint from the Denver Tool. The bottom left p
rint is the correct match.
While you're at this computer, run a Computer Analysis on the Hard Drive you pic
ked up.

Question her about everything. when she claims Pete isn't laundering money, pres
ent the financial records. Continue questioning her about everything else. Once
the discussion is over, you'll receive an interesting phone call and will be tel
eported to the Barber's Shop.

Check the video camera to reveal the truth.
Case Two - Planting Evidence

Once you gain control of your character, check near the railing on the right to
pick up Victim's Hard Hat.
Click towards the garden in the middle to get a closer look at the body. Greg wi
ll question where he fell from. Click towards the top of the scaffolding to view
the area above. This will open up a new location, we'll get to that in the mome
nt.
Back to the body. There will be two footprints next to him, take a photo of the
left one. You'll receive Photo of footprint in dirt near where victim was found.
Before leaving the area, talk to the worker who found the body. Question him abo
ut everything, you'll receive Photo of Marcus Kunchai's Shoeprint.
After questioning Marcus, open up your PDA and select L'Avventury Casino & Hotel
, Balcony from your locations menu.
L'Avventury Casino & Hotel, Balcony
The office is locked. Looks like we won't be searching that for a while.
Look under the step ladder to pick up Industrial Power Cable found on Balcony of
Construction Site . Open the cable in your evidence menu and check the power ou
tlet to find Fingerprint from Power Cord found on Construction Office Balcony.
Check the balcony to find blood smeared on the railing. Before you can collect a
sample, spray some fluid on the blood. You obtain Blood from Railing on Balcony
of Construction Office Balcony. Before leaving, examine the top of the pole to
collect Fingerprint from Railing of Construction Office Balcony.
We're done here for now. Head back to the lobby.

Talk to Marcus again to receive Marcus Kunchai's Fingerprints. Return to the Mor
gue to discuss the victim's death.
Morgue
Talk to the Doc. After asking about the two ligature marks, take out your camera
and take two photos, one of each ligature mark on the victim's neck. You'll rec
eive Photo of the Smaller of Two Ligature Marks around the Victim's Neck and Pho
to of the Larger of Two Ligature Marks around the Victim's Neck.
Ask Robbins about everything else. You'll receive Reference Sample of Victim's F
ingerprints, Sample of Victim's Blood, Victim's Clothing and Victim's Suicide No
te. Open the suicide note from your evidence and check near the top right of the
note to collect Fingerprint from Victim's Suicide Note.
Head to the lab to analyse what we've collected so far.
Main Lab
Use the Microscope at x10 or x60 to compare the power cable with the photo of th
e larger ligature mark.
Compare the blood from the railing with the victim's blood via the DNA machine.
Run the following fingerprints:
Marcus Kunchai's fingerprint to confirm his employment record.
The victim's fingerprints to confirm his identity.
Compare Mark Ensign's fingerprints with the ones on the power cable. The top lef
t print is the correct match.

The Suicide note fingerprint. You'll need to select five identical points first.
The bottom left print is the correct match.
After comparing the fingerprints, you'll be teleported to Brass' office for anot
her conversation with Huntby.
Brass' Office
Huntby will have some information about the case and Salazar. Ask all available
questions. After the conversation with Huntby you can request a warrant for Lync
h's Office. Use the prints on the suicide note as evidence.

Open the door to the office and talk to Zachary Lynch. Ask him all available que
stions. You'll receive Photo of Zachary Lynch's Shoe Print. Now to collect evide
nce from his office..
Approach the desk to pick up Destop Computer from Construction Office. Use the c
ollection tool to scrap a sample of Blood from Keyboard of Desktop Computer at C
onstruction Office.
Check above the '/' key to collect Fingerprint from Keyboard of Construction Sit
e Desktop Computer.
Talk to Lynch again before leaving. Ask him all remaining questions. Time to ana
lyse our new evidence at the lab.

At the DNA computer, run the blood collected from the keyboard with Mark's DNA.
Now run the keyboard fingerprint in the opposite room. You will have to find fiv
e similar points first. The top right print is the correct match. Before leaving
this machine, run a computer analysis on the office computer. An arrest warrant
is now available from Brass.

Request an arrest warrant for Lynch. Use the keyboard's fingerprints as evidence
.
Interrogation Room
When he claims he didn't write the suicide note, use the Desktop Computer to con
tradict him. Question him about everything else. Once the conversation is over,
you'll be teleported back to Brass' office.

A stern conversation commences. Once it's over, you are free to re-examine the o
pening crime scene.

Examine the north western are of the garden to pick up Plant taken from Crime Sc
ene. Check the root of the plant from within your evidence file to find Brown Su

Finally, use the blood on the glove. Confession time.
Case Three - Tapped Out

Check near the bed to find some muddy footprints. Take a snapshot to receive Mud
dy Footprints, found near the Body of Mary Marst.
Look at the regulator near the bed to pick up Broken Pieces of Mary Marst's Morp
hine Regulator.
Examine the higher section of the Morphine Bag to receive Fingerprint found on t
he Morphine Bag in Mary Marst's Hospice Room.
Walk into the next room and up to the bronze bust in the corner. Near the bust a
re some more footprints. Take a picture of these as well to receive Muddy Footpr
ints, found near the Bust of Frank Marst. Look at the broken bust and process it
with casting to receive Scoring found on Bronze Bust of Frank Marst.
Talk to Jayne Barrett, who is sitting by the piano, about everything. Then retur
n to the Hospice room and question the nurse.
Main Lab
Head over to the reconstruction table to piece it back together. You only need t
o place the three big pieces. Once you fit all pieces, you'll receive ID Number
for Mary Marst's Morphine Regulator and Metal Shaving found in Debris of Broken
Regulator.
Run a Chemical Analysis on the shavings. 3, 5, 6, 7 is the correct sequence.
Move over to the Macroscope and compare both sets of muddy footprints.
Compare the bust scoring with the metal shaving on the microscope at x10.
Run a Medical Search on the regulator ID number.
Run the fingerprint on the Morphine Bag. The top right print is the correct matc
h. A warrant is now available from Brass.

Request an arrest warrant for Jayne Barrett. Use the Morphine Bag fingerprint as
evidence to get her to come down voluntarily.

As usual, ask Robbins about everything. You'll receive Mary Marst's Fingerprints

Examine the victim's hand to receive Tiny Shard of Unknown Material found on the
back of Victim's Left Hand.

Run a Chemical Analysis on the shard. 1, 4, 5, 7 is the correct sequence.
Run Jayne Barrett's security records through the Document Analysis to notice the
discrepancy.
Brass' Office
Request an arrest warrant. Use the shard as evidence to get Pauline to come down
voluntarily.
Interrogation Room
When she claims it's her real nail, use the shard to contradict her.
Continue questioning her about everything else.
Lakeside Docks, Marst Family Chalet
Move to the right and search the area. Examine the oil with the Collection Tool
to collect Sample of Motor Oil, found by the side of the Lake.
Back out and traverse down the first set of steps. There are three footprints in
the mud. Use the casting tool to collect Footprints in Lakeside Mud, made by Jo
hn Barrett.
Before leaving, talk to John until he basically tells you to get lost.
Main Lab
Head over to the Macroscope and compare the prints at the dock with either of th
e two collected at the beginning of the case. A warrant is now available from Br
ass.
Brass' Office
Request a warrant for John Barrett's Bedroom. Use the prints at the dock as evid
ence. Before we can investigate his room, there's something else to take care of
.
Main Lab
Agent Huntby will give you Statue of St. Ambrose, used to Murder Umberto Salazar
and Reference Sample of Beatriz Salazar's DNA. Check the blood on the statue to
receive DNA taken from a Statue used in the Murder of Umberto Salazar in 1982.
Go to the DNA computer and match both samples.
After some scenes, talk to Catherine about everything. We now have the warrant.
Time to investigate John's room.
John Barrett's Bedroom
Check the trash can near the drawer unit to find Shard of Fake Nail, found in Jo
hn Barrett's Trash. Open the nail from your evidence file and examine the white
substance on the top of the nail to receive Genetic Material Attached to a Fragm

ent of Fake Nail found in John Barrett's Trash.

Move over to the bed and pick up Used lingerie, Collected from John Barrett's Be
droom. Examine both sides of the lingerie from within your evidence file to rece
ive Sample of Female Genetic Material, found on lingerie taken from John Barrett
's Bedroom and Sample of Male ejaculate, taken from Lingerie found in John Barre
t's Room
Finally, open the wardrobe and pick up the shoes to receive Muddy Shoes Collecte
d from the Room of John Barrett.

Compare both nail shards via the chemical analysis computer.
Run a search on the male DNA sample. Option four is the correct choice.
Run a search on the female DNA sample. Option four is the correct choice.
An arrest warrant is now available, but we have a couple of other things to do f
irst.
Compare the female DNA with the fake nail found in the trash.
Compare the shoes with either of the prints found earlier in the case.
Compare both shards of nail at the Microscope (x10).

When she claims she chipped and replaced her nail, use the fake nail to contradi

When she avoids the subject with the next question, present the DNA sample.

Go down to the docks and over to the boat. Search on the top of one of the seats
to pick up Finger Puppet, of Great Sentimental Value to John Barrett.

Run a medical search on the Regulator ID again. A warrant is now available from
Brass.

Request a warrant. Use the ID regulator number as evidence, but that's still not
enough. Let's try talking to Jonh again.

Question John again. Afterwards you'll receive The Keys to a Cabinet on John Bar
rett's Boat where another Pair of Muddy Shoes are kept.

Go down to the boat and unlock the cabinet to receive A Pair of Muddy Shoes, Loc
ked in a Cabinet on John Barrett's Boat. Check the laces of one of the boots to
collect Hair, with Root Tag, found on Muddy Shoes from John Barrett's Boat.

Run a DNA search on the hair. Option one is the correct choice.

Compare the muddy shoes from the cabinet with the prints near Mary Marst's body
and the bronze bust on the macroscope.

Request an arrest warrant. Use the DNA as evidence.

When she claims to have been at home the previous night, contradict her with the
DNA. You'll receive Jayne Barrett's Smartphone. Examine the back of the phone t
o collect A Smudge of Viscous Substance on Jayne Barrett's Smartphone.

Go to chemical and and analyse the motor oil found earlier in the case. 1, 3, 6,
7 is the correct sequence.
Compare the oil with the smudge from the phone.

Request a warrant again. Present the smudge as evidence.
Lakeside Docks, Marst Family Chalet
Return to the spot where you first found the oil sample and search with the ultr
asound device. You'll find A Hammer, found buried in Lakeside Location where Jay
ne Barrett has been and A Wrench, buried near Lake for Unknown Amount of Time.
Examine the head of the hammer to collect Metal Pieces found in Pitting on Head
of Hammer and the bottom to collect A Fingerprint found on Hammer Buried near th
e Lake.
Main Lab
Run a search on the fingerprint found on the hammer. The bottom right print is t
he correct match.
Compare the metal pieces from the hammer with the bronze shavings at the Chemica
l Computer.
Interrogation Room
Contradict her sole statement with the fingerprint on the hammer.
Case Four - All Washed Up

Open the passenger's side to find Syringe used by Victim on the seat. Examine it
from your evidence file to collect Fingerprint found on Syringe from Victim's C
ar.
Check under the seat to pick up GPS Device, found knocked loose in Victim's Car.
Examine the GPS holder to collect Fingerprint found on GPS Holder.
Go round the other side of the door and look inside to notice that the victim is
missing an earring.
Click on the TV near the victim's friend to check out the surveillance.
Finally, talk to the victim's friend. Question her about everything.

Run a chemical search on the syringe. 2, 5, 6, 8 is the correct sequence.

Run the fingerprint from the GPS holder. You'll have to click on five similar po
ints first. The top right print is the correct match.
Robbins will let you know that the autopsy is complete. Head down to the morgue

Check the driver's seat to pick up Bag of Drugs found in Victim's Car. Examine t
he bag from your evidence file to collect Fingerprint found on Bag of Drugs.

Watch the CCTV footage via the Video/Audio computer.
Run a search on the fingerprint found on the bag of drugs. You'll need to click
on five similar points first. The bottom left print is the correct match.

Finally, question Sergeant Lipp. Afterwards, he'll put the rag down, pick it up
to receive Rag used to staunch Sergeant Lipp's Head Injury. Examine the bloody r
ag to collect DNA gathered from Sergeant Lipp's Bloody Rag.

You'll receive 22 Caliber Bullet taken from Gun found near Manuel Molinez upon e

Run a Chemical Search on the yellow powder. The correct sequence is 4, 6, 7, 8.

alazar's file to discover the correct sequence.
A cutscene will play out and you'll meet the Queen herself, again. Talk to her u
ntil you've had enough and select 'Jim! Get her out of here!
