1. Introduction
1.1 Initial Activities
1.1.1 Teacher opens the lesson with greetings.
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarokatuh. Good Morning,
students. How are you all today?
1.1.2 Teacher leads the students to pray together.
Before we start,lets pray together.
1.1.3 Teacher checks the attendance of students.
Who is absent today?
1.2 Apperception
Teacher connects the topic that will be learned with previous topic that is
arithmetical operations of integers in Mathematics Grade VII.
Right, who can remember what we learnt last lesson about arithmetical
operations of integers?
1.3 Motivation
Teacher prepares students with motivation by showing the video of gross,tare
and net in daily life.
From thats video,who can explains definition of gross, tare and net?.
1.4 Goals of Learning
Teacher tells student about learning objectives of the lesson.
"By the end of the lesson, you were expected to be able to differentiate and
determinate the amount of gross, tare and net.".
2. Main Activities

2.1 Teacher explains definition of gross, tare and net.


So, gross is the weight of some goods including the wrapper or packaging,
tare is the packaging or wrapper of heavy goods and net is the real weight of
goods.
2.2 Teacher divides students into small groups, every group have five members.
I want you in groups please. In groups of five.
2.3 Teacher gives a worksheet to each group.
In your groups, Id like you to practise this worksheet.
2.4 Teacher guides the students to solve the worksheet.
Determinate the gross, tare and net of your snack, how to determinate the
gross, tare and net from your snack?.
2.5 Teacher goes around to check each group.
Teacher: Have you done to determinate the gross, tare and net from your
snack?.
Student: Yes, we have.
Teacher: Good, After that you can find the formula of gross, tare and net.
2.6 Teacher gives the time to students for explain their answer in front of the
class.
Ok,now who can explain the answer of worksheet? Raise your
hand,please!.
2.7 Teacher helps the students to prove their answer.
