SLOUGH FOODBANK They are now entering their sixth year serving the people of Slough.
They thank St Andrews parishioners for their donation which they received on 21st March. This
weighed 101.4 kgs and this is equivalent to about 115 individual meals. Currently they are
receiving rather more food in the donations, than they need to supply all the people coming to
them for help. So their stocks are rapidly increasing and they want to avoid any possibility of
waste, by food going out of use by date. They ask all donors to limit their choice of products to
those listed below, for the time being, and possibly make up each donation by adding a financial
contribution, if able to do so. They will then be able to purchase specific products as the need
arises and also meet the costs of their underlying support services, essential to the collection,
storage and distribution of food. At present they would very much welcome receiving: tins of
meat in gravy, rice as 500g or 1kg packets, long life milk, instant mash potato, shampoo,
womens hygeine products. Your generosity and continued support is greatly appreciated.
THANK YOU!
LANDINGS An opportunity to review, renew, share and expand your faith while considering how
