the modern 1.2m tones, ISO-9002 certified plant at sedam,
Karnataka. The plant incorporates the best technology to
manufacture the cement of unmatched fineness and high
compressive strength. This cement reduces consumption between
10 to 20% & for a given mix as compared to other brand. It gives
an ultimate of about 70 mpa, with fineness of over 300M sq/kg. it is

43 GRADE OPC
It is multi purpose cement made from natural gray high grade
limestone at the latest. The fitness of Vasavadatta super-43 helps
in better workability of mix giving dense concrete with exceptional
final strength which leads to savings. An initial high strength of over
30.00mpa quickens process of form work, reducing shuttering cost
&shoulders above others. Its special blend makes all the difference
– absolute consistency in its compressive strength, physical &
chemical properties. This results in better workability, faster setting,
better finish and more mileage. It can be used for various applications- rights from
building construction to bridges, fly-over, concrete pipes, asbestos products and

PORTLAND POZZOLONA CEMENT (PPC)
VASAVADATTA CEMENT, a unit of KESORAM INDUSTRY LTD. Of the B.K BIRLA
group now offers pozzolana along with other premium brands such as Vasavadatta
gold- 53 grade and Vasavadatta super-43 grade cement. Pozzolana is produced from
fly ash which is a blend of lime & alkalis to form a insoluble innocuous compound which
contributes to the strength, impermeability & sulphate resistance. The low density of fly
ash, its high volume and spherical particle shapes, improves workability & reduces
bleeding. This results in improved bonding between steel & concrete.
