Where do your seed come from ? Most of my seeds are imported. I have some seeds sourced
from my own farm from seeds initially imported from abroad. Ceba Rawit for example came from
seeds imported from Indonesia but I have grown it in our farm for more than 4 generations. My
Habaneros are sourced from a contract grower who grows only Habaneros. But most are sourced
from the USA from Pepper Lover and for the more commercial varieties like Jalapenos from

Q&

commercial seed producers and distributors. I make a conscious effort to source my seeds only
from sources with very good reputations. I only sell seeds that I also plant in our farm
Are your seeds fresh? We order seeds at very small quantities that they are gone in a few
months. I have farms to care for and older seeds are retired from our shelf and planted in the
farms. When you get your seeds store them in a cool place. The Medicine cabinet is a good place.
The ref is good. I said ref not the freezer.

Do you guarantee the seeds sold.? I guarantee only to the

description of the seeds. If the pack says red habanero and it turns to be a
Carolina reaper (lucky you) I will replace the seeds or pay you back. But
you got to prove it first and foremost. I warrant to the extent of the
purchase price of the seeds as described within universally recognized
tolerances. The warranty is limited to the amount of the seeds regardless
of the extent, nature or cause of the loss. We must be given notice 30
days after the defect in the seeds has become apparent. If you are not
amenable to these conditions do not order from us. The moment you
order we presume that you have seen this notice and agree to the terms
and conditions stipulated herein. Andthere must be proof of such.
How do you ship? We ship by courier. I only ship by LBC or JRS. If these
service companies are not available in your area I can ship by Philpost at
your own risk. LBC is more expensive. They charge 160.00 even for 1
packet of seeds while JRS will charge from 99 to 107 pesos for any
quantity that can fit in their letter pouch. Because I will make a special trip
to the post office for just one package I charge 100 pesos for mail.
Pre planting treatment It is best to pre- soak the seeds overnight in
clean non chlorinated water. Others soak in black tea to soften the seed
coat and many also keep the seeds in the refrigerator for a few days
before they are planted.remember I said refrigerator not the freezer for
three days to mimic the winter before they sow them. Nevertheless
patience is most important. Many seeds sprout in ten days but a few can
take up to 60 days
What soil is best ? Make a loose soil or soilless media that can
maintain moisture but will not be too wet. A vermicast, cocopeat and sand
mixture will be ideal. Others swear by Klasman TS3 Peatmoss mix. I use
whatever is available. To me germination is not the problem. The
challenge is growing the to maturity after germination. Get a seedling tray
with big cells so you can keep the seedling in them for longer. Most
important is to sterilize the soil. Dry fry them in a wok for 20 minutes or
oven bake them for the same amount of time you can also place your mix
in a black plastic bag and toss them on the roof to heat up a few days.
Sterile soil is good for seeds and seedlings.
What Fertilizer should we use? Fertilize when plants are six or more
inches tall at their young stage the soil will provide. Give a bit of Epsom
salts once they start to bud and do this every month. Doses and ratios
vary. They are heavy feeders so feed often. Having said that many die
because of over feeding and over watering. So be careful.

I grow my chilli plants in the fields, direct to soil. It is more forgiving than
pot grown plants. Thats only me and others have grown far better plants
in pots.
