The first seminar visited is the Subic Bay International Airport. They discussed about the history of the airport. In January 2010, Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority Administrator and CEO Armand C. Arreza expressed interest in closing Subic Bay International Airport in favor of converting the area to a logistics hub. This was due to the closure of FedEx's delivery hub, which is located within the airport complex, and the planned expansion of the nearby Clark International Airport. Our tour in the airport has many interesting things, like parking lot of airplane they called it apron. Another is the hangar is a closed building to hold aircraft/airplane. About the Airport Facilities the area of passenger terminal is 10,000 sq. m. and 2 stearn jetways. The runway of the airport has 9000 foot. Now the airport used in military ramp being used by the US Armed forces as a part of the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement between the Philippines and the United State.
