Este Caderno de Apoio constitui um complemento s Metas Curriculares de Ingls do 1. ciclo do


EnsinoBsico.Asatividadesaquipropostassurgemagrupadasemcincoseces:Rhymes,Chantsand
Poems;Letssing;Storytime;LetsstartspeakingeLetsstartwriting.Oscontedosdosdiferentes
domnios de referncia (Domnio Intercultural/Intercultural Domain; Lxico e Gramtica/Lexis and
Grammar; Compreenso Oral/Listening; Interao Oral/Spoken Interaction; Produo Oral/Spoken
Production; Leitura/Reading e Escrita/Writing) so tratados transversalmente e interligados nas
diferentesatividades.

Emcadaumadasseces,otrabalhodoprofessorperspetivadoapartirdealgunsprincpiosater
em conta na interao com alunos deste nvel etrio. Os princpios normalmente referidos na
literaturaenosrecursosdeapoioaoprofessordelnguaestrangeirasoosseguintes:

acomunicaonasaladeauladeveseremingls:pretendesequeosalunossefamiliarizem
com a lngua inglesa e que sejam capazes de ouvir instrues simples, compreender e
responder, seja atravs de gestos ou palavras. Isto no invalida que a lngua materna seja
usadapontualmente;
arepetioearotinasofundamentais:arepetiodevocabulrio,expressesecontedos,
apresentados de diferentes formas e em diferentes momentos em atividades de curta
durao,eaintroduoderotinasnodecursodaaulacontribuemparaaretenodelxicoe
deestruturas,promovendoaautonomiadoalunonousodalnguainglesa;
asatividadesdevemserdiversificadas:osjogos,oschants,ascanes,ospoemas,ashistrias
e as pequenas dramatizaes devem ser utilizados de forma recorrente e envolver
movimentoeoscincosentidos;
as atividades devem integrar contedos de outras reas de estudo: sempre que possvel,
recomendase a integrao de contedos trabalhados noutras reas de aprendizagem (por
exemplo:matemtica,estudodomeioeexpressesartsticas);
os recursos devem ser variados e apelativos: a aprendizagem da lngua e/ou de contedos
atravs da lngua deve ser ilustrada com imagens, brinquedos, objetos e, se possvel, com
recursosaudiovisuais;
ascrianasdevemserenvolvidasnaproduodemateriais:atravsdedioramas,cartazesou
banda desenhada, as crianas podem ilustrar os contedos estudados, envolvendose em
trabalhocolaborativocomoscolegas.

Ao professor caber adaptar, aos seus alunos, o grau de dificuldade das propostas apresentadas
neste caderno e os recursos aqui sugeridos. Aproveitando a maisvalia do conhecimento e da
experincia dos professores, recomendase que, dentro das escolas, se desenvolva um trabalho

Giveeachgroupablanksheetofpaperandaboxwiththe20cards.
Tellstudentstoworkasagroup,takingoutonecardatatimeandtryingtobuildtheirstorywiththe
cards.Remindthemthatpunctuationisimportant,assomewordswillhavecapitalsandotherswillbe
followedbyafullstoporanexclamationmark,etc.
Askastudentineachgrouptowritethecompletestoryonthesheetofpaper.
Askstudentstogivetheirstoryatitleandtoillustrateit.
Askeachgrouptochooseaspokespersontoreadtheirstoryouttotheclass.
