INTRODUCTION
This paper constitutes the results of the research carried out in the Barangay
Sawang Calero, aimed at analyzing a core problem to address in the community for its
betterment and the planning on the implementation of the recycled bin project. This also
translates that the students of NSTP Section A are truly nurtured to create, inspired to
innovate and destined to serve.
METHODOLOGY
The Respondents
The survey method was used to determine the problems existing in Barangay
Sawang Calero. The respondents of the survey for the data gathering were the residents of
the barangay. One hundred household were selected to be interviewed. The questionnaires
contained inquiry about the households main source of livelihood, its average income,
tenure status and educational attainment of the respondent.
There are 17 males and 73 female respondents. Most of the respondents are 41 to
50 years old while there are no respondents aging 20 years and below. Most of the
respondents are owners of businesses and small to medium enterprises and these are their
main sources of livelihood. The average household income of most of the respondents
ranges from 5001 pesos to 10000 pesos. In addition, most of them are high school
graduates and own their house and lot. 81 of the respondents have electricity in their homes,
83 respondents have water supply, and 84 respondents have toilet facilities.

Wednesday was given to finish the survey. After finishing the survey, the questionnaires
were gathered and the answers were tallied.

Based on the research survey conducted, it can be observed that the major problems
of the residents of Brgy. Sawang Calero are directed towards sanitation and waste disposal.
Majority of the 100 respondents said that improper waste disposal is their biggest
predicament. On the other hand, majority of them are also satisfied with the barangays
performance. In line with this, Section A would integrate all the data gathered in the project
proposal along with proper promulgation of information.
SUMMARY
The survey was conducted by Section A to bring up a project proposal in order to
benefit the barangay. The barangay assigned to Section A is Brgy. Sawang Calero. After the
survey has been conducted, the project proposal will be based from the responses of the
interviewers.
The survey focused on measuring the satisfaction rating of a given number of
residents (n=100) of Brgy. Sawang Calero on eight main aspects of their barangay. The
results of the rating of the residents on these aspects are as follows:
