What a Deal... What a Deal.... !!!

Ordered Micromax 50B6000FHD by looking at the overwhelmed response to its preced
er 50B5000FHD.
Initially ordered it for Rs. 32490 from Amazon on their Festival Sale on 15-Oct,
but the delivery was too late by Gati courier & it was out for delivery on 26-O
ct, here, I felt that I'm the luckiest person, On 26-Oct Amazon started its Diwa
li Sale in which the same product was priced at Rs. 31990 and as I'm having Citi
bank credit card, I got additional cashback of Rs. 1750 so, rejected the first o
rder & placed a new one... which takes effective price to Rs. 30240 (31990-1750)
which was Rs. 2250 less from my first order...
Product was delivered on 2-Nov by Gati Courier, Gati handled the package delicat
ely & delivery was smooth this time'
Packaging from Amazon was excellent, all corners of the box were protected by a
very hard cardboard frame, for additional safety package was bubble wrapped & co
vered by Amazon labeled polythene...

Product is manufactured in India (Uttarakhand) & not made in China... :)
On Unboxing, we found the TV intact (read lots of reviews which says that they f
ound the TV broken on unboxing, so I was little bit worried about it), so, every
thing was good inside the package.
We preferred to install the TV on Table Top, as I thought it will be difficult t
o access the connecting ports if wall mounted.
TV looks great & big when kept at its place.
Quality of the material is no way inferior, it's decent... (8 out of 10)
Before buying this, we have a 32 inch HD Ready LCD display at home. So, everyone
in home was excited to see the first look on new television.
We pressed the power button on & blown away by looking at the micromax logo disp
layed on the screen.
Then we surfed HD & SD channels on our Tatasky HD set top box & found that the H
D Quality is excellent & SD also very good (It's a human tendency that if we see
a great picture quality in HD we found SD very inferior, one should always keep
this in mind that what goes in comes out...!!! same with the picture quality...
HD is HD & SD is SD)
So many options to calibrate the Picture Quality of your choice, I personally fo
und RGB settings most useful in setting up the desired picture quality. (9 out o
f 10)
Now something about Sound, Yes, it's low but manageable, when we see the big ima
ges on screen the sound output doesn't matches with it. Fortunately I'm having a
2.1 i-ball sound system at home & connected with it and solved my problem...
One more point... yes, it is having a 3.5 mm port for headphone jack...!! (7 out
of 10)
Now, something about Micromax Service, I found the Service excellent, after rais
ing the request for installation got call on same day, may be it's because they
have a service station based at my location (PUNE).
For Extended Warranty I sent a sms yesterday and got a call from micromax execut
ive today morning at 10 am... (10 out of 10)

Also, I have connected the 'Teewe 2.0' streaming device to the TV (Purchased at
999 on Flipkart on BBD), & made my TV SMART. Now, I can play all media files wir
elessly (using Wi-Fi) from my Laptop & Mobile to the big screen.
Yes, by purchasing this you will never regret your decision, this is value for m
oney big screen available currently in the market...
