Hi Picchu,
Welcome to Lenovo Community!
Im sorry to hear that your G500 Laptop is not booting to Windows and displaying black screen, I suggest you to perform the
Flee-Power and BIOS reset. Below are the steps to check and resolve the issue:

1. Remove the battery and any other peripheral device connected to the computer.
2. Hold the power button for 10-15 seconds and then connect only the AC Adapter and try to
turn ON the computer.
3. If the issue persists even after performing Flee Power then resetting BIOS to its defaults
should resolve the issue
4. Now to access BIOS menu press the NOVO button which is located beside the power
button after turning OFF the computer.
5. Then select the BIOS utility option to enter BIOS.
6. To reset the BIOS to its defaults click on F9 Key and select YES.
7. Now click on F10 Key to save the changes that are done in BIOS, the computer should
automatically restart. Please check if the issue persists.
Hope this helps!!!
Do post us back if the issue still persists.
Best Regards
Shiva Kumar

Hello,
I tried the flee power but it doesn't work and for the BIOS setup when I press the F9 it suddenly gives me nothing, the screen
suddenly turn off, I didnt get to save it.

And another thing I have a new problem now, I can now access the laptop, but in the lenovo screen there's always a 'To skip disk
check, please press any button in 1 second(s)'. the boot up is really long and i need to press a key for if not it will just loop. After
pressing a button, it will give me a please wait appearance and it will take a long time to respond. Accessing my account, waiting
for certain programs will take a long time to respond too, in other words, everything will take like minutes to give some
response.

I solved this problem by doing this steps, now my sytem is starting in 5 seconds
!!!!!

Click the Startmenu, type Run, press Enter, and then type msconfig in the Run box. Click theServices tab. In the accompanying
screenshot you can see that, for simplicity's sake, I ticked the checkbox next to 'Hide all Microsoft services'; nevertheless, I did
plan all along to disable a few Windows services.
List of services that open at startup on a typical working system, as identified by msconfig.

In addition to disabling all of the services shown in the above list, I disabled six Microsoft Windows services from starting on
boot:

Windows Media Center receiver

Windows Media Center Scheduler service
Microsoft Office Groove Audit Service
Microsoft Office Diagnostic Service
Smart Card Removal Policy
Smart Card
Since I don't use Windows Media Center on this system, disabling the first item on the list was an easy decision. And these
changes only scratch the surface. Another item that you might disable on startup is Remote Login (if you never use it). The right
choices depend on your needs.

After disabling the extraneous application services and a handful of Microsoft services, I found that the system now took 68
seconds to boot--not much of an improvement. The next step was to disable a few startup applications.

Memory Test :
Firstly, Generates the memory test of your system . In order to initiate this
a.) Press Win+R key , type MdSched.exe Hit ENTER.
b.) Select "Restart Now & Check for Problem" & This option will automatically fix the problems related to memory.

Chkdsk Utility :
Go to the left down corner where start menu icon appears while hovering , just right click on it and choose Command Prompt
(Admin).
After this type chkdsk in the command prompt & this will correct your hard disk related problems.

Optimise Your Disk :

Optimisation of disk is very important , this will de fragment your hard disks bad sectors & correct it.
In order to run this utility follow this steps.
a.) Press Win+R key , Type dfrgui.exe & hit ENTER.
b.) Optimize your all listed hard drives.
After this reboot your pc & you will solved that problem .Enjoy..

After Following this Settings Follow This Main Procedure :

1. Right Click Computer & Click On Advance System Settings
2. Go To " Advance Tab "

3. Navigate to Startup and Recovery tab & Tune Up with Following Settings
*Disable Automatic restart.
*Select Small Dump Memory 128 KB

4. Save The Above Settings & Restart Your PC.

I haven't found a software solution to this problem. I have been able to get around the issue by unplugging the cmos battery for
at least 20-30 seconds before plugging it back in. The problem still occured after installing a ssd and clean install of windows. I
might have to wire a switch to avoid taking the cover off constantly =/.
