Instructions
Did you introduce yourself at the beginning of the course on the discussion forum? Do you remember how you organized and presented it? In this assignment,
you will introduce yourself again but through an Elevator Speech. Practice, record and post a 1-2 minute video Elevator Speech to introduce yourself to a
person in this course. It should not be longer than two minutes. During your Elevator Speech, you should:
1. Introduce yourself
2. Add interesting details about yourself
3. Speak in clear, direct sentences
4. Use correct stress
5. Use correct speed and volume
6. Smile and look at the listeners
7. Use condent, appropriate posture and gestures
When you have nished recording your Elevator Speech, upload it to YouTube or any other video hosting site. You will post the URL (address to your video) for
the submission. Remember to keep your video public so that others can have access to it.
This peer review assignment is your chance to watch and review three of the elevator speeches your classmates submitted. I think it will be fun and interesting.
After you listen, you will evaluate their submissions following the instructions. This will give your course peers important feedback and suggestions on how
they can make their speech even better.
