NI ELVIS 2 and Integration of NI Multisim and LabVIEW

The NI Educational Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Suite (NI ELVIS) modular platform delive
hands-on lab experience for engineering curriculum with an integrated suite of 12 commonly us
measurement instruments in a single compact form factor.
Various circuits were made using transistors, op amps, resistors, capacitors, inductance
to study Gates logic, RC circuits connections are done on NI ELVIS II board.
Simulation on NI ELVISMX Instrument Launcher of the circuits connected on the
prototype board.
A home burglar alarm system was also made using resistors, capacitors and inductances
and simulation were done using Multisim and Labview.
Coupled with Multisim, it assisted to create a unified environment to learn and teach
digital, analog and power electronics.
The outcome of the project is that we have a solution for teaching circuits and
electronics which gives students the ability to move seamlessly from theory to
simulation to experimentation by combining educational hardware that is based on
industry-standard technology with Multisim circuit simulation software and Labview.
Vision :
Interfacing Labview and Arduino to explore its applications.
