Hair and Body Wash for Babies

This mild cleansing formulation makes bath time a pleasant experience for both mom and baby. Glucamate* DOE-120 Thickener provides high viscosity, exceptional softness
and has a low irritation potential for eyes and skin. Sulfochem* TD-3 Surfactant is a mild surfactant ideal for baby skin. Quatrex* S Conditioner, a liquid cationic surfactant
compatible with anionic ingredients, acts as an excellent conditioning agent. Glucam* E-20 Humectant provides humectancy.

**This formulation was developed using regionally supplied surfactants. The specific surfactants used may
impact formulation properties.

Procedure:
1.

PART A: Dissolve Disodium EDTA in warm Deionized Water (~40C)


with agitation.

2.

Add remaining PART A ingredients in order allowing each to completely


mix. Mix until uniform.

3.

PART B: Combine PART B ingredients in a separate vessel. Heat PART


B to ~50C with mixing.

4.

Add PART B to PART A with mixing. Mix until uniform.
