Professional experience:

Research Assistant:

Under graduation: SAFA Research Institute of Technology. Duration: 8 months (Jan2007-


Aug2007)
Project: Formulation design and in-vitro evaluation of osmotic drug delivery system of
Metoprolol Succinate. The works encompass the design of different osmotic systems with
different orifice diameters and concentration of osmogen. Evaluation of the formulations for,
in-vitro drug release, to study the effects and to prove the drug release is by osmosis
mechanism. My research also involves stability studies to predict shelf life and the storage
requirements.

Graduation: University of Greenwich .UK. Duration: 7 months (Feb 2009-Aug 2009)


Project: Preparation and characterization of POLY NIPAM micro gel. The prime objective of
this project is to formulate micro gel and mix the micro gel with a dye and to study the
physico-chemical properties of the micro gel. The research involves at different temperatures
and its characterization is studied through different methods using different techniques.

Responsibilities include:

• Determination of physico-chemical properties of compounds.


• Carrying out the stability studies of compounds in different media.
• Associated in the drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics division.
• Performing drug evaluation studies to determine the pharmaco - kinetic parameters.
• Maintaining precise documentation of experimental results.
• Utilizing the knowledge of GLP guidelines in operating procedures.

Personal statement
Seeking a challenging and rewarding career in Pharmaceutical Sciences where I can
contribute my knowledge and skill set for growth and development of the organization. My
determination, dedication and devotion towards my studies made me achieve Masters Degree
in Pharmaceutical Sciences together with practical working environment experience.

Leadership qualities:

• Presented a paper on ‘RISING STAR IN THE PHARMACEUTICAL


INDUSTRY-INDIA’, as a part of my Master’s first semester course work (Group of
5 members).
• Presented a paper on ‘MATERIAL HANDLING’, as a part of my Master’s second
semester course work.
• Presented a paper on ‘FEATURE AS PHARMACIST’, as a part of ‘PHARMACO
WEEK’ held at H.K.E’s College of pharmacy.
