For thousands of years, people in India have used cow urine and cow dung for
different purposes in their daily and ceremonial activities. Being highly
recommended by the scriptures, it is considered holy and safe to use. A. C.
Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada (Founder-Acharya of the International
Society for Krishna Consciousness - ISKCON), mentioned several times in his
lectures the importance and good things that can be acquired from using cow urine
and cow dung. Similarly, it is always available anytime, anywhere.
For this matter, the ISKCON Bhaktivedanta Swami Goshala which is
currentlyhosting more than 300 cows, is inspired to produce its own kinds of cow
urine and cow dung products. The ultimate desire is to glorify and to serve the cows
(Go-Seva) and to please Lord Govinda, the tender of cows.
For many months, research has been conducted on how to make the recipes based on
scriptural information. Some of the inputs were also taken from the most
reliableresearch papers of other organizations that have been introducing these
products for quite some time in the Indian market. All recipes for the GOMATA
products were chosen carefully to make sure its contents, when combined with cow
urine and cow dung, would not result in any negative reaction. Nevertheless, cow
urine and cow dung are always pure, making the other contents purified.
Glorification and Benefits of Cow Urine
Amongst urines, cow urine is best. In Ayurveda where ever urine is mentioned, it is
to be understood as cow urine. Statements of scriptures confirm this. Cow is our
mother and we are her children. Therefore, cow urine is beneficial.

Cow urine has amazing germicidal power to kill varieties of germs. All germ
generated diseases are thus destroyed.

2. According to Ayurveda the cause of all diseases is the imbalance in three

faults (tri-dosas) i.e. mucous, bile and air. Cow urine balances the tridosas,thus diseases are cured.
3. Cow urine corrects functioning of liver. So, liver makes healthy pure blood. It
gives disease resistance power to the body.
4. There are some micronutrients in our body, which give life strength. These
micronutrients
are
flushed
out
through
urine.
Therefore
gradually ageingsteps in our body. Cow urine has all elements,
which compensate for deficiency of nutrients in our body, which are required

GO-ARK, Essence of Life (distilled cow urine)
Ayurveda recommends GO-ARK to help lower cholesterol and
reduce body fat. A gift of cow urineis its ability to
balancethe three doshas (mucous, bile and air). It boosts the
immune system, servesas a complete detoxifier, and as a
health promoting anti-oxidant. It also enhances brain power
and strengthens the heart while bringing your consciousness
to a higher level of goodness. Generally it repairs and
regenerates damaged tissues and cells. Very effective in
obesity, controlling cholesterol levels, reducing stones,
swelling, and in joint pains. Also cures respiritoryproblems.
It is useful in all kinds of children's cough and other
diseases. It gives strength and energy. Also serves as an
anti-bacterial agent. GO-ARK is prepared by boiling cowurine in an iron pot to which a vapour condensing device is

Ayurveda recommends GHANAVATI as a liver cleanser,
blood purifier, and as a digestive aid. Since cow urine is in

the mode of goodness, it will therefore invigorate the

physical, mental and moral senses, GHANAVATI is also
beneficial in all kinds of diseases and useful for heart
disease, high blood pressure, and effective in mental
illnesses.
Directions: Take two tablets twice a day with warm water.
Store in a cool dry place and keep away from sunlight.

Note: In some patients, taking any cow urine preparation
may result in loose bowel movement (LBM) three to four
