Because of my characteristic as a Resource Investigator, I can say that to exploring and colleting all the data that I need everytime I want to
start to work on a project (create the strategy) is my strenght as a leader. I have a high motivation to learn and that makes me never giving up
no matter how hard the challenge in order to develop my self and to inspire my team that if you want to do something then, there wont be
such a thing like limit. And because of this behavior, in a team I will work as the motivator.

To be honest, being an engineer never be my dream or passion, frankly I HATE TO STUDY


ABOUT CHEMICAL AND ENGINEERING at the same time! But as an engineer student you will
have a mindset, what else would you become if not as an engineer?! But being a part of this
HER
AMBITION.
. . . me discover about my true passion, my ambition, and my purpose of life. And
organization
makes
actually, makes me understand more about the world that I am living and makes makes me want to
shape it and bring the a part of the change I want to see in the society. And what I believe, by
contributing to the society that I am living, I will get more experiences and grow more as a better
version of myself.

INVESTATION.
Taking this opportunity, I know exactly that I
wont experience an easy and extravagant
life. Instead, I will have a hard and full of
challenges life. I am really aware that being
a VP for the next term means that I need to
sacrife more of my time for the organization
and others development. I also need to
sacrife more of my energy for the
organization. But all of the things that I do...
I will not see it as the sacrifation that Ive
made, but instead I will see it as the
investment that I put for my future.
Investment that I put in order to develop the
behavior that I want to see from myself.

MOTIVATION?
Simply because I will maximize all the
potential and the knowledge that I
have to contribute to the growth of
this entity. I will generate some new
idea and strategy to pursue the goals
of the entity for the 16-17 term, and
also supporting the vision of the entity
for the next term by maximizing the
iGCDP Project Operation to strenghten
Organization Brand to the society
widely and make sure that iGCDP
Projet will boost the growth of oGCDP
func. wich is our main incoming fund .

Now maybe youre thinking that these things below are too high and it feels like
impossible that I can pursue it. But thats why I need an experience as a Vice
President especially for iGCDP Project. By the experience that I will get as a Vice
President of iGCDP Project, I believe that I will develop the behavior, attitude, and
skills that I need in order to pursuing my dream and my ambition of life. I also
believe that by this experience I will have the chance to gain more knowledge
about project management and also I can know the current condition of the
society that I live in. Which will be very usefull for me to know what kind of change
that I should bring for the positive change for the society that I live in.

Next, lets talks about the things I most afraid from being a Local Committee Vice
President... it would be if in the end of the term I do not achieving the goals that Ive
promise to the entity and if I am not be able to leave a good legacy for the term
after me. Why? Probably because as a human I am a result oriented kind of
person. And also for me, achieving the goals that Ive set is one of the
measurement that Ive succesfully develop a new behavior and attitude to be a
better leader and a better version of me.

Built my own broadcasting company that will inspire all


the people around the nation by the purposeful things
that I broadcast through my broadcasting studio.

YOU MAY CALLED IT DREAMS, YOU PROBABLY CALLED IT GOALS, YOU MAYBE
WOULD SAY IT AS THE AMBITIONS, BUT I CHOOSE TO CALLED IT PURPOSE.

IF I TOLD YOU THAT WHAT MAKASSARS NEED RIGHT NOW ARE THE YOUTH
WITH LDM CHARACTER WOULD YOU AGREE WITH ME?
Almost all of the Youth in Makassar are complaining about how bad the polution
that all big industries and constructions has produce in the city, but they are
unawared smoking freely in the public place without realizing the bad impact that
they actually brought to their surrounding. Another example is that most of the
youth in Makassar complain about how big the growth of all foreign company in
our City and they keep on exhume greedily the natural resource from our city for
their own company profit. But everytime all the Youth in Makassar graduated
from their study, instead of developing a local startup company so that it can be
sustainable in its own homeland or process the resource from the city for the
sake of it, they will go to the big foreign multinational company and work for a big
sallary that they offer there.

VISION THAT I WILL BRING AS VP OF iGCDP PROJECT

iGCDP Project AIESEC in UNHAS as the main


platform to deliver high quality yet impactful
experiences that are more accessible to
every youth in the society

The ideal Executive Board team for me should look reliable to their member. As
the Executive Board, they will be the role model of the entire people in their
entity, so they need to live and understand of AIESEC Value more than the other
in order to inspire the other to living the AIESEC Value as well. As the
Executive Member Team, of course they will have come conflict to each other.
But as the role model of the entity they need to show how they handle
their conflict and keep going as a team. The gap exist in some team
because of some reason. The gap will be exist easily especially in a team
with a big structure. The gap that happen between each member
can be because as a human, some people tend to spend their time
with the people that has the same personalities and hobbies with
them. Because of this, these people will form their own small
group in the team, and that will caused the gap within the
member of the team. To build a great team for me, the
communication within the team member is the most important
way. By keep open and communicating everything to our
teammate, there will be no missunderstanding, and it will aso
helpig us ti respect and understand each other to deliver a
better value and experiences to the entity as a team.

SDGs, also optimizing project planning by
collaborate with another organization as

The organizational culture of AIESEC in UNHAS based on


my assestment, that these two thing (below) are the things
that comes out on my mind. I would say that the first point is
the possitive one and the second point is the negative one.

Strong family athmosphere in our entity really affect


the number of the people that keep continuing their
journey by keep taking role in the entity. This culture
also affect AIESEC in UNHAS member selfdevelopment and self-discovery by the support and
feedback from the people around them about their
self. This culture built a mindset of its member that
helping each functional or team to achieving their
goals or target is everyone responsibility so most of
the time all the member of AIESEC in UNHAS will
unite as one in order to achieving the goals in
number that need to be achieve.
Organizational Culture is the way
AIESEC in UNHAS of the organization conducts its
ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE program, treats its member, and its
stakeholder.

But in the operation itself, for me...


AIESEC in UNHAS still lack of
accountability
management
and
profesionalism within its member. So,
eventhough theres a time when we
achieve the number that weve set, the
team leader in some team sometimes
wont get the leadership development
experience and still dont get the
diferences of being a team leader and
team member because sometimes the
people thats structural above the team
leader (the team leader of team leader)
take over their job and tracking the
member dirrectly (lact of accountability
management).

profesionalism in the operation

I would like to observe the culture of achievement more in my term if I am elected as


the VP. What I get from this culture that we can empower other people to achieve their
goals not by help them and taking over some of their job or responsibilities. But we
empower them by boosting their spirit with showing to them what weve achieved and
how weve achieve it.

iGCDP Project Relevancy in Makassar


The relevancy of iGCDP Project in Makassar
is by creating a social project that is related
to the current issues within the city and also
providing a platform for the youth to directly
start the impactful change to the society that
they live in, in order to develop some
characteristic and behavior as the leader for
the society

WHAT CAN WE DO WITH THIS CONDITION?


I would recommend these five key issues segment:

WHAT I SAW AS OUR STRENGHT

Lack of innovation for the project (most of the JD is teaching in the school no matter what the key issues are).
Lack of communication to the projects stakeholder (host family, partner, and EP) that can lead to
misscomunication.
Lack of commitment for its member to really deliver a high quality project.
Really weak international relation that make our number really low in matching and realization.
Lack of knowledge from its member about the components of the program itself.
No stakeholder database management.

WHAT I SAW AS OUR WEAKNESS

With most of the youth in Makassar care about social issues that we can invite to collaborate in iGCDP
Project.
Makassar City or South Sulawesi itself is a community with different social project which we can create
impact on.
With 127 countries and more than 2000 Universities (LC) that we can start to work on International Relation
with, in purpose to increase the growth of EP number.
Inviting company to partnering with AIESEC for iGCDP Project for their CSR program.
Large Youth Community that can collaborate with AIESEC iGCDP Project program.

LETS GRAB THIS OPPORTUNITY

Unsatisfied stakeholder (Volunteer, host family, and Partner) because of misscommunication.


Break matching and or break realization by the EP side.
Do not get the financial parter to support the sustainability of the Project.
Procrastinate members in doing their job description

In the end of the term as a VP, I want to see the result of my contribution in my member self development and selfdiscovery. I want to leave a legacy that full of purposeful member because theyve aware about theirself. In the end of
my term, I wish to see my vision for AIESEC in UNHAS to be a center of social project in Makassar. Where iGCDP
Project deliver high quality experience for all of ts stakeholder. Adn I want also to see a sustainable impact in the
society that AIESEC in UNHAS has create through iGCDP Project..
