1. What is occurring at Emerson with regard to combining business entities in the Flow Group?
a. We are actively trying to be easier to do business with and appear more as One
Emerson. The combining of business entities is a step in this direction.
2. What benefits will Emerson's customers realize once the entity change has occurred?
a. One quote and one purchase order for Coriolis, Density, Vortex and Magnetic Flow meters
3. What is the current time table for the changes to occur?
a. The target timeline is to complete the legal entity migration by the end of April 2016
4. What are the specific transition dates that I need to know?
a. We are planning on making the business system transition from April 21 to April 25, 2016.
b. This means that we will be unable to process your orders during the Aprils 21 to 25 transition
period.
c. We will have limited emergency shipping capabilities during April 20-29, 2016. Please contact
your customer care team at +1 800 522 6277 if you need emergency shipping support during
this period.
d. We will try to ship your orders to you a few days early before this transition period if your
request ship date falls within the transition period.
5. How will this change in legal entity make for a better experience when working with Emerson in
the future?
a. We are actively trying to be easier to do business with and appear more as One
Emerson. The combining of business entities is a step in this direction. This means that our
customers will no longer need to make separate quote, order and RMA requests between
Coriolis, Dedicated Density, Magnetic Flow and Vortex meters.
6. How will this impact my identification of Emerson flow products branded as Micro Motion and
Rosemount Flow?
a. The branding of each product line will remain the same
7. How will this impact the Rosemount Measurement products and where I buy them?
a. There will be no change to how our customers purchase Rosemount Measurement products.
8. Does the change impact Rosemount Differential Pressure Flow products?
a. This change does not impact Rosemount Differential Pressure products. These products will
continue to be available to our customers through the Rosemount Measurement channel
9. What will be the legal company name and the address I need to make my PO's out to over the
coming months?
a. Starting April 25, 2016, please send your PO to the following legal entity for Rosemount Vortex and
Magnetic Flow meters. This includes return and repair orders.

10. Where will invoices be coming from and what legal entity will they include?

a. Your open invoices for all Magnetic and Vortex flow meters issued prior to April 25th will
continue to be paid to the Rosemount address listed on the invoice. New invoices issued
after the April 25th date will have the following new invoice remit address. In all cases, the
remit address on your invoice will be correct.

11. How will this process impact returns and repair requests?
a. Starting April 25, 2016, please send your return and repair requests for Rosemount Vortex and
Magnetic Flow meters to the following:

12. Does this mean that we can now place one order for all Emerson products?
a. This transition only affects Coriolis, Dedicated Density, Magnetic and Vortex Flow meters. We are
actively trying to be easier to do business with and appear more as One Emerson. The combining
of business entities is a step in this direction.

13. When will I be able to place one order on Emerson?


a. Emerson is continuously working on initiatives to be easy to do business with. Enabling our
customers to place one order for all Emerson products is one of our top priority and we will make
sure that our customer are notified as soon as a timeline is available.

a. The Emerson team is committed to meeting your delivery request in every way. Having the
complete and correct order details to process your order is critical to meeting that commitment.
3. How will order acknowledgement and order status change with the entity change?
a. Order acknowledgement for Rosemount Vortex and Magnetic Flow meters will now come from the
Micro Motion legal entity
b. Order status search through the online tool for Rosemount Vortex and Magnetic Flow meters will be
available under the Micro Motion legal entity
4. How will the change in legal entity impact model numbers, deliveries, and invoicing?
a. No change in model numbers
b. No change in customer delivery processes
c. Invoice will come from the Micro Motion legal entity
5. How will the legal entity change impact my agreement contract and terms & conditions with
Emerson?
a. Emerson Precision Flow Contract Management team will work with you on revisions of the existing
agreements or terms and conditions you have with us as needed.
6. Will my sales representative be able to explain in greater detail the impact on my interactions
with Emerson?
a. Your sales and customer care teams will be happy to provide additional information as needed.
7. How will this change impact shipping process and location?
a. All shipping documents for Coriolis, Magnetic Flow and Vortex meters will come from the Micro
Motion legal entity.
b. Shipping location:
i.
Magnetic Flow meters will continue to ship out of our El Paso, TX facility.
ii.
The Boulder, CO facility will be able to support emergency Magnetic Flow orders after the
transition.
iii.
Vortex Flow meters will be shipped out of the Eden Prairie, MN facility
iv.
Coriolis and Dedicated Density meters will continue to ship out of our Boulder, CO facility
8. Will I be able to place one order for all Rosemount and Micro Motion products?
a. Customers will be able to place one order for all Coriolis, Dedicated Density, Magnetic Flow and
Vortex meters.
b. Rosemount Pressure, Temperature, Level, Wireless Measurement and Differential Pressure Flow
products will continue to be sold under the Rosemount legal entity.

What can I do to minimize the impact of this transition to my business?


a. Customers with request ship dates after April 25, 2016 can start placing their orders on Micro
Motion starting April 18, 2016. These orders will be acknowledged after the April 25 transition date.
b. We will also be able to start providing quote through Micro Motion Inc. to customers beginning April
18, 2016.

10. How do we get support for emergency orders during the transition period?
a. We will do our best to support emergency Magnetic and Vortex Flow meter requests during the
transition period. Please contact your customer care team at +1 800 522 6277 to escalate your
emergency order need.
