Reminders & Announcements

Have you ever wondered what the 9th grade students do when they "go to the river?" Do you want to
know what turbidity, salinity, or even pH are and how to measure them? Would you like a student to
teach you how to put on a pair of hip waders, walk on slimy rocks, and then catch a royally crabby
crayfish?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you'll want to swing by for the first ever BKHS River
"Rewind" Open House. During this open house, groups of students will become specialists in one of the
many aspects of their work at the Bronx River. And they'll be ready to teach ya'll all about their
respective specialties!

Next Thursday, December 20th, 2007 • 2nd, 6th, and 7th periods • Rooms 306 and 307
Even if it's just for 5 minutes, please stop by. The kids are excited about being able to teach their
teachers and show everyone what they know!

Thanks - Annie, Carly, Nic, and Nate
