respective personnel, some of which were, the First Aid officer, Journalists. Team Managers,
Coaches, Equipment Managers and Event Officials. These persons were responsible for carrying
out their respective tasks for the successful production of Sports Day.
I was also responsible for to issue tasks and expected that they were completed diligently
and on time. My co-workers and I enjoyed the games as it was a very competitive atmosphere
among the classes and also cheerleading.

Organization of sports days played a vital role in making it a successful event. Time and
preparation were essential in achieving the set goal which was making sports day enjoyable for
all. Because my role came with numerous challenges and responsibilities, time management and
good organizational skills were necessary for the successful staging and also cooperation among
delegates.

As a competition manager, all the areas I was responsible for needed individual attention
as my team members and I worked together, each task/area was tackled completely.
Promoting sports day was done by several methods. Students were encouraged to
participate in sports day when they gathered in different forums, namely, house meetings on
Thursdays as sports day approached. They give their basic information to the house captains as
they wish to partake in the vents before and on sports day. Dues were collected which were used
to purchase items for the different athletes who represented their respective houses.
REFELCTION
As I had to display outstanding leadership qualities on the day at hand, sports day was a
success and I gained an abundance of information that was critical in for the completion of my
school based assessment.
I have learned a lot of things from my teachers and team as we bonded and taught each
other the importance of teamwork and cooperation.
