CONSENT FORM

You are being invited to participate in a research study on The factors


affecting Teachers Motivation in Secondary National School Teaching .
This research project is conducted by Grace Teo Chiang Huey from the
University of Portsmouth, the United Kingdom. She is currently a final year
student who is taking the course B. Ed (Hons) Teaching English as a Second
Language.
The objective of this research paper is to analyse and compare the
contributory factors that affect teachers motivation and commitment in British
and Malaysian secondary national schools. The research paper will involve
questionnaires and selective interviews. I truly believe that the information
collected from you will be extremely helpful for teacher education providers,
policy makers and the society to enhance their understanding on the teaching
profession and the measure of teacher motivation.
There are no known risks if you decide to participate in this research
study, nor are there any costs for participating in the study. The information
provided will be discussed and evaluated anonymously.
