Introduction

A successful research requires a methodical approach and probably data

collection and data analysis are the most crucial part of the research work.
The data collection and the analysis are aimed to solve the research problem
and obtain the answers to the research questions.

This report aims to understand the methodology followed for the research
work and discuss all the essential issues faced during the research. The
research deals with the different road safety issues and discusses the
present states of the road in UAE and how it has been influencing the people
while they drive to and fro.

Survey instruments and participants profile

The data collection is essential for the success of the research and this
research uses an extensive survey in order to collect the required data for
the research.

The survey required a questionnaire so the questions for the questionnaire

were formulated which were qualitative as well as quantitative in nature. This
helped in getting a better approach to the research and a vivid
understanding. While the quantitative data can be easily analyzed with the
help of statistical tools and calculations the qualitative data requires a
theoretical approach for the purpose of understanding.

The participants for the research are a huge section of 25 people who have
been selected based upon a single criteria that they can drive and they drive
across UAE.

General Results

The general results are the outcomes of the data collection report which was
quite expected in the first place before the surveys were initiated.
About 40% of the sample population has expressed their concern over the
degrading conditions of the roads in UAE 40% also have said that driving has
become increasingly risky in the streets of UAE but a better percentage
declines this and says it is not as risky as it is thought to be.

48% of the sample populations have verified the fact that there are enough
norms and practices that ensures proper road safety for the drivers and the
people alike. 68% of the people have held the youth the problem for the
increasing issues in road safety.

40% people have said that they do not hesitate to go out for a drive due to
the safety issues and there is 68% of the sample population who have
exclaimed the authorities to be stringent about the road safety policies.

Unexpected results

There were a lot of data collected which was unexpected. 64% of the
research population has been parts of an accident on road 68% have
witnessed a horrible road. 60% people believe that there are huge numbers
of drivers not aware of road safety rules and issues. Most people have also
said that the drivers are required to learn the rules and regulations properly
in order to ensure road safety.

Conclusion

The data collected in this research has been effective in understanding the
road safety issues and their principle cause in UAE based upon the
understanding proper steps can be taken to educate people more on road
safety and also improve the road conditions to decrease the number of
accidents which was the main research problem in context finally , I can see
most of the student ware not interesting to answer the questions and without
conscientiously , On anther hand only I have half of the participant who
answer this question by genuinely.
