3.7 Maintenance
One of the great advantages in building in Designa Schist is
that it is virtually maintenance free.
However, an annual check should be made to clean out the

3.6 Cleaning
During installation, use clean water promptly and remove
any fresh mortar splashes using a stiff bristle brush.
On completion wash all surfaces with clean water.
A light acid wash can be used if cement/mortar stains are
too heavy for water to remove. Refer to instructions on the
use of acid for cleaning.
