# No. of blocks per truck shown in the above table will make appro. 9.00 MT. Loading of blocks
more than above limit, transport charges to be paid on prorata basis.
# As per IS: 2185 (part 3)- 1984, (8.1.1) 5% of consignment is slight cracks or small chippings
upto 25mm are to be accepted.
# Basic selling rate at ex-Mumbai godown will change as per the change in prices of petroleum
products.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF QUOTATIONS FOR SUPPLY OF SIPOREX
PRODUCTS

1. For one sqmt walling area 6.06 blocks are required

2. Prevailing rate of Central excise duty is 8% and educational cess 3% is applicable on Central
Excise.

3. Prevailing rate of Sales Tax (VAT) for Reinforced products is 12.50% and Unreinforced
products is 4% Prevailing rate of Central Sales Tax for Reinforced product is 12.5 % and
Unreinforced products is 4%.
4. Prevailing rate of Transit Insurance is 0.01653%
5. Basic Rate of standard slabs are as given in Price list are for slabs having Superimposed load
350kg/m2. or less.
For higher loading requirement:

Rs. 150/- per m3
SL 401 kg/m2 450kg/m2
Rs. 250/- per m3
SL 451 kg/m2 500kg/m2
Rs. 350/- per m3
6. For nonstandard length of slabs the rate to be charged is same as next standard length. For
e.g. 3.2 Mtr long slabs will be charged at the rate of 3.5 Mtr. slabs.
7. For slab of width less than 600 mm but more than 300mm, full rate of slab is to be charged.
8. For 300mm, slab whose order is of even numbers the rate will be half of the normal slab + Rs.
50/- as cutting charges.
9. Packing charges at the rate of Rs. 150/- are charged per stack of slab, the stack being 1.50
Mtr. in height. For 125 mm slabs one stack includes 12 slabs. For 100mm Wall Panels etc. 15
nos. of Wall Panels are accomodated in a stack.
10. Packing charges for slabs for long distance despatch will, howeveer be Rs. 325/- upto 2.0
Mtrs and Rs.425/- above 2.0 Mtr.length per stack as additional packing is done in such cases. For
long distance despatches of block packing charges Rs. 350/- per truck load will be extra.
11. Forwarding/ Loading charges is Rs. 100/- per truck load. However, Forwarding/loading
charges for Siporex Seconds shall be Rs.250/- per truck.
12. The rates and sizes given in the schedule are subject to change at the discretion of the
company without any notice. The price list cancels all previous price lists.
BOOKING: Order for slabs is to be booked with an 100% advance of the total value of the prder
inclusive of taxes, packing and forwarding charges.
UNIT OF SALE: In numbers.
DELIVERY: In normal course production of the material will commence only after issue of Order
af Acceptance delivery adte will be staed on Order of Acceptance. The Company reserves the
right to effect delivery in installments or in whole lot as the case may be and the payment for
supplies if not made in advance will ahve to be paid before taking deliveries from the factory
warehouse.
TRANSPORT RISKS: Transport at prevelant market rates can be arranged by the company on
buyers account and risk with specific written request. Transport, octroi and Service tax as
applicable shall be paid by the buyer to the transport contractor at the destination at the time of
unloading of the material in such cases. Warai& any other charges will be on buyers account.
TRANSIT INSURANCE: The Company can arrange Transit Insuranc at the instruction of the
buyer and premium thereof will be charged extra. Transit Insurance at the instruction of the buyer
and premium thereof will be charged extra. Transit damages are covered under the scope of
transit insurance. However, if truck meets with an accident or fire hazard insurance claim will be
effective.
