Babs Security Services Ltd is a registered Company in the Republic of Kenya in accordance with the
provisions of the Registration of Business Names Act. It was registered in March 2004 and Incorporated
in 2006 respectively.
VISION:

RECRUITMENT
Guarding staff vetted and screened as per the clients requirements and with a current certificate of
good conduct from the CID, National ID cards, Local chief
letter, education testimonials, past employment details, referee letters and residential area maps
All guards must be literate-i.e. able to speak and write in both Kenyas official languages.
Must be physically fit and of a given age limit

TRAINING
A rigorous process which aims to turn a recruit into a skilled security officer with a whole range of
knowledge in all security issues and
who has the ability to provide a resourceful input in the sustenance of
security in key assignments.
This intensive training is tailored to meet specific clients needs and covers the following subjects.
Practical security guards practice
General drills and discipline
Traffic and parking control
First Aid
Fire fighting and control skills
Patrols, surveillance & counter surveillance
Use of aids to security and modern security systems i.e., CCTV/ alarms Communication in security
perspective radio calls, telephones etc.
Customers care security perspective.
Basic principles of law & investigations (scene of crime prevention).

Our supervisors on motor-bikes/vehicles maintains alertness of guards at all times doing supervision at
least twice per shift. Over and above the normal supervision, senior managers will carry out frequent
and impromptu spot checks to premises. We have an in-charge at the site level who is senior guard
at the location. At the assignment level we have a computerized patrol System which is equivalent to
watch men clock to alert the Guards/Guardettes, this is monitored from our officers on an hourly and
daily basis.

b) One Supervisor 12 hours a day, 7 days a week to supervise the guard at least 2 times during 12
hours shifts. This is augmented by management/inspectors spot-checks.
c) In depth investigation and liaison with the police by our Investigation Officers in case of incidences
hampering security.
d) 24 hours access to our officers in emergency cases
e) 24 hour access to Duty officers whenever necessary
f) 24 hour access to our Directors, General Manager, Operations Manager, Branch Manager and other
Senior Supervisors at any needed time.
g) Public/Contractual Liability Insurance to cover negligence, dishonesty of guards and related Contractual deficiencies.
