DATA MATRIX OF LAST SESSION MARKET INSIGHTS: On 11 May 2010, The key benchmark indices edged lower as
INDEX Close Chg Chg% world stocks retreated after Monday (10 May 2010)'s big surge amid uncertainty over euro-
zone countries' ability to reduce their deficits. The BSE 30-share Sensex was provisionally

down 205.13 points or 1.18%, up close to 20 points from the day's low and off close to 255
Nifty 5136 -58 -1.12% points from the day's high. All the sect oral indices on the BSE were in the red. The market
Midcap 6929 -69 -0.99% breadth, indicating the overall health of the market, was weak. Metal, realty, telecom and IT
Smallcap 8872 -77 -0.86% stocks fell. Hindalco Industries declined in a weak market despite strong Q4 result.
Ranabaxy Laboratories, too, fell a weak market after turnaround Q1 result. Stocks were
volatile. The market slipped into the red soon after a firm start. The market came off the

lower level in early trade. But, the intraday recovery proved short-lived. The market
BSE 4219 -2.56% extended losses in early afternoon trade. The market once again weakened in mid-afternoon
NSE 12657 -9.63% trade, with the Sensex hitting a fresh intra day low. The market breadth, indicating the
F&O Total 85299 -13.79% overall health of the market, turned weak. The breadth was positive earlier in the day. On
BSE, 1074 shares advanced as compared to 1793 shares that declined. A total of 79 shares
remained unchanged.

FIIs 20.2 -92.35% As per provisional figures, the BSE 30-share Sensex was down 205.13 points or 1.18% to
17,125.42. The Sensex fell 226.10 points at the day's low of 17,104.45 in mid-afternoon trade.
DIIs 22.2 -26.64%
The index rose 48.60 points at the day's high of 17,379.15 in early trade. The S&P CNX Nifty
was down 63 points or 1.21% to 5,130.60 as per provisional figures. The BSE Mid-Cap index
FII OPEN INTEREST (Crs) Chg% fell 1.18% and the BSE Small-Cap index fell 1%.

European shares fell after a massive rally on Monday, as doubts about Greece's ability to

FII Stock Futures 29409 -2.40% were down by 1.12% to 1.95%. Asian equities fell on Tuesday, reversing initial gains, as
FII Stock Options 1157 0.41% lingering doubts about how Greece and other debt-laden euro zone countries will reduce
their budget deficits put the brakes on the impressive relief rally in global stocks on Monday.
The key benchmark indices in Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, South Korea

and Taiwan fell by 0.44% to 1.90%.

TECHNICAL VIEW: Absolutely a range bound session we have witnessed yesterday. After fantastic turnaround in
Monday session, domestic indices once again shown some lackluster trading around 5200 level and ended up with mild losses
though momentum still intact with buying side. For today’s session we believe quite a range bound scenario with positive bias
between 5110-5215. Any break out above this level would generate another 50-70 pts gain in a short term though possibility of
profit booking can’t be rule out at any stage. On the flip side if spot index unable to sustain above 5070 level on closing basis we
may found some trend reversal sentiments though 4960 may be the key support zone. HAPPY TRADING...
