JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF JOB (GENERAL DESCRIPTION):
1. Performs overall Quality Control/Quality Assurance related functions, i.e. incoming quality
inspection and outgoing quality inspection.
2. Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of
quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products.

LEVEL OF AUTHORITY:
Performs routine and non-routine duties according to the order and instructions of the
Top Management. Is authorized to prepare quality documents i.e. Inspection Reports,
Inspection Acceptance Criteria, Quality Plans, Inspection Standards, and transaction
records or data relating to quality matters.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed primarily in production and office setting both inside and outside the
company.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


1. Responsible for developing standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation of products and
materials.

2. Assists the Management Representative in developing and maintaining the ISO 9001 procedures and work
instructions.

3. Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devices
methods for assessing cost and responsibility.

4. Maintain the material inspection area to ensure all products are distributed in conformity to customer
requirements.

5. Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing products and tabulating data concerning materials,
product, or process quality and reliability.
6. Assist engineering department in maintaining the test gigs, measuring and test
equipments as well as calibration requirements.
7. Analyzes and resolves product defects or problems and assist other functions in formulating solutions to
solve product defects.

8. Interfaces with other Departments and the Internal Trainers to develop and implement training programs as
required in the procedure.

9. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of shift inspectors
in accordance with the companys rules and regulations.
10.
Ensure compliance to procedure and requirements of Quality Management
System standards.

1. May perform portions of the work of higher classified jobs occasionally, as assigned.
2. May perform duties of similar complexity in a department or in the whole
organization as required or assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATION/REQUIRED COMPETENCY


WORK EXPERIENCE:
1. 1 2 years work experience in the same position or work function
2. At least 1 year related work experience in manufacturing set-up.
3. At least 1 year work experience as staff level position.
EDUCATION:
1. Bachelors Degree or equivalent two-year college or technical education.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:
1. Ability to read, analyze and interpret product specification and requirements.
2. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from
internal and external customers
3. Leadership skill.
4. Ability to work with measurements and mathematical concepts.
5. Problem solving skills
6. Excellent communication skills including active listening and effective
speaking.
7. Proficient in the use of office software (i.e. Excel, MS Word, Power point).
8. Knowledge in government laws and regulations.
9. Knowledge in ISO 9001 Standard
