6.3. Preparing Prior to Installation

It will come with the wooden box that includes some small pipes, measuring post and cables
inside. While opening the wooden box, they, who open wooden box, should wear gloves that
protects from edge of wood and also they should be taken care to leap something like as wooden
piece, in this case they have to use glasses in order to protect eyes. Wooden box must be put in
safe area in order to prevent from fire.

6.4.

Installation

Installation will be carried out in accordance with the last approved revision of the
installation projects. Request form for materials will be prepared. Materials will be transported
from storage area to site with crane. Crane will be loaded with slings and manpower. Cables will
be fixed safely in the pickup board. At the working area, the cables will be placed in a way that
will not prevent safe access and egress. The assembly drawings will be checked on the place of
installation. Tower, fixed and movable type scaffold, which is approved and build according to
safety requirements, will be used as access to works at high. The personnel that will erect the
scaffolding will be competent. Scaffold will be tagged, ladder will be color-coded.
Materials will be transported to the site, and then erection places are checked and precautions
will be taken such as if working area has been excavated firstly necessary permissions would be
taken from PPR HSE Department by us and then area would be closed with tape and barrier in
order to prevent from falling. If it is needed, take permission from LOTO in order to work
somewhere that has already been under commissioning. While working in the excavation a
guardian will be there if someone, who works in the excavation or who is going to work there,
will be warned about working under there. When we take these precautions they can start to
work there. First of all cables are pulled in the anaconda spiral from pipe to Measuring Post.
Then one place should be chosen to put Measuring Pots that places will be done in order to put
supports for Measuring Post by civil company. After the works is done daily, working areas will
be cleaned.
