However, the common malignancy or cancer includes breast cancer, lung cancer, skin cancer,
testes cancer, ovarian cancer, colorectal cancer and brain cancer. Breast cancer is cancer that
originates from the breast tissue itself. Segens Medical Dictionary 2012 mentioned that
breast cancer is caused by the development of malignant cells in the breast and usually
occurs in the milk producing gland of the breast tissues. Breast cancer has becomes the
most frequently found life threatening diseases for women all around the world based on
recent study and research. According to American Cancer Society 2013, 39620 people among
the United States women had died in the year 2013 due to breast cancer. Lung cancer is
another life threatening diseases nowadays among the people worldwide. According to
Princeton University Words Collection 2003 - 2012, lung cancer is the carcinoma of the lung.
Dictionary of Unfamiliar words 2008 mentioned that the main cause of lung cancer is
tobacco smoking. The chemicals present in tobacco eventually destroy the lung tissues. Skin
cancer is the malignant neoplasm in skin. Mosbys Medical Dictionary 2009 mentioned that
skin cancer is the cancer that causes by genetic defection, overexposure to UV ray in
sunlight, chemical carcinogens, fumes from molten metal and the radiation from other
sources of ultraviolet light. Testes cancer is the formation of malignancy tissues in one or
both testicles in male. Gale Encyclopedia of Medicine 2008 mentioned that testis cancer is
also known as gonad cancer which is defined as the cancer cells develop inside the testicles.
Ovarian cancer is defined as the cancer of the ovaries which are the reproductive organs of
female. According to Gale Encyclopedia of Medicine 2008, ovarian cancer is the cancerous
or malignant cells divide multiply in ovaries in an abnormal trend. Colorectal cancer is the
cancer of the large intestine, colon includes the rectum. According to Mosbys Medical
Dictionary 2009, colorectal cancer is a malignant neoplastic disease of the large intestine.
Colorectal cancer is characterized by the changes in the bowel habits of the body which may
actually results in anemia. Brain cancer is also known as brain tumor. According to Gale
Encyclopedia of Medicine, brain tumor is the growing or formation of cancerous cells in the
brain. Brain cancer is very different from other cancer. It spread by local extension and

outside the brain by a rare metastasize. According to American Cancer Society 2013, about
17000 brain tumor patients are discovered in United States every year.
