PURPOSE
This document is to clarify the general overview of the execution plan and method
for the cable tray installation works for the PP13 in RIYADH located near
DHURMA City, KSA.
The purpose of this Method Statement is to state the minimum key activities
which shall be carried out properly to execute the project objectives and
requirements during Contract period up to Issue Final Acceptance Certificate
(FAC) by Employer for the project.
SCOPE OF WORK
This method statement describes how to create a complete secure cable tray and
ladder works and ensure the system sustainability during the power plant
operation in light of the project related drawings and standards.
Respectively, works will be in accordance to the related Specifications, Codes and
Standards, HSE Procedures and Approved Drawings.
RESPONSIBILITIES
GAMA is responsible to ensure the healthiness of cable trays, ladders and their
related other materials during construction and guarantee to keep the installed
cable trays and ladders in good condition as per the project technical specification
and general implementation rules and ensure the Quality Assurance.

EXECUTION
Storage of the materials, transporting materials to the place where the work
activity will appear, precautions for work safety, preparations before commencing
installation and complete implementation with fulfilling the project specification
and regulations shall be considered as one part during the execution of work.
Note: These instructions and information do not intend to cover all details or
variations in cable tray systems nor provide for every possible installation
contingency. All steps of installation should be supervised with an
experienced foreman or engineer with taking all necessary safety precautions.

The distance between supports should not exceed the minimum interval and the
approved drawings shall be followed.

12 PROGRESS MEASUREMENT
Progress will be followed by GAMA Site Representatives by daily.
13 QUALITY REQUIREMENTS
Contractor shall strictly comply with the GAMA Project QA/QC Plan. Contractor is
committed to establish, document, implement, and maintain the project quality
management system (QMS) and continually improve its effectiveness in accordance
with international standards.
Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) for Cable Tray Installation (Doc. No: PP13-00-YQPT-GAM-502) shall be followed during the execution of works.
In addition all employees and GAMA subcontractor employees on site will have
through GAMA Project Safety Induction for site safety, health and environmental
prior to work activities. Other training courses will be attended as required by
GAMA or WP as required.
Each work scope or task will have a completed and approved Job Safety Analysis
and Risk Assessment (JSARA) identifying the potential hazards and control

In addition to the above, all employees conducting the works defined in this
Method Statement will wear basic PPE which is highly visible vest, hardhat,
safety shoe, safety googles. For additional safety requirements for a particular or
specific task please refer to the JSARA prepared for that task.

protect it against accidental cut and / or crush
Extension leads wherever possible should be routed and not
be allowed to trail on the ground

is not in use
