Senior executive experiences for technology companies run the gamut from General Manager in global
enterprises to Chief Executive for venture-backed startups to company founder. Have run large global
businesses with full P&L, strategic planning, product line and IP portfolios, operations, marketing, M&A, and
business development. For startups, a serial entrepreneur as Chief Executive, face of the company, industry
spokesperson, co- founder, board member, fund raiser, enterprise builder and investor advocate. Through
extraordinary opportunity as well as adversity, have had the privilege of leading diverse, talented and
entrepreneurial teams to success, thriving in the face of challenges in different company/business stages:
embryonic, development, growth, distressed, restructuring, turnaround and exit.
Grounded in engineering, adeptly transitioning between different technology markets: optical networking, voice
processing, enterprise communications, wireless, software, nanotechnology, lighting, building controls, energy
efficiency, financial service products and materials. Career highlights: run a $1B+ telecommunications line of
business, led the M&A Team of a $10B global business unit, served as CEO of 3 venture backed startups, served
as the top marketing executive at a $2B company and founded companies for which I have raised over $125M.

2013-Present
Co-Founded a new software marketing toolkit focused on audience engagement. A do-it-yourself challenge platform linking
consumers to social and financial rewards and to all major social platforms. Responsibilities include strategy, creation of
company infrastructure, operations, fundraising, marketing and business development. Co-led commercial launch in 2015.
2012-2013
An advanced lighting controls company in the lighting energy-efficiency market backed by multiple venture firms including
Braemar Energy Partners, Townsend Capital, Low Carbon Accelerator Ltd., and Noventi Ventures, targeting commercial
and industrial facilities with a value proposition of significant lighting energy savings and building management system(s)
integration.
2008-2011
Managed multi-media marketing strategies including traditional and social media, resulting in 100% growth in
corporate web traffic
Company's fiscal 2011 revenue increased by 25%, resulting in growth from $1.6B to $2.0B
Guided company through financial turnaround, strategic investment round, creation of brand awareness and
management of significant IP portfolio

1980-2001
A global leader in telecom equipment that manufactures products used to build communications network infrastructure.
AT&T announced in 1995 that it would split into three companies: a manufacturing/R&D company, a computer company,
and a services company. NCR, Bell Labs and AT&T Technologies were to be spun off by 1997. In preparation for its spinoff, AT&T Technologies was renamed Lucent Technologies. Lucent was completely spun off from AT&T in 1996. In 2006
Lucent was acquired by Alcatel SA, which then became Alcatel-Lucent.
