Description
Dissipating heat
The breathable film and fans in the APM30 are separately installed
for heat dissipation. Therefore, the APM30 can adapt to the variation
of ambient temperature.
Providing the
grounding bar
The grounding bus of the cabinet, the grounding cable of the surge
protector, and the grounding cables of other equipment are
connected to the grounding bar.

NOTE
The AC bipolar MCB (SW1) controls AC wiring terminals L1 and N1. The AC bipolar MCB (SW2)
controls AC wiring terminals L2 and N2. The DC output MCB controls the DC output wiring terminals.
There are four pairs of DC output wiring terminals LOAD2: NEG1(-), RTN1(+), NEG2(-), RTN2(+),
NEG3(-), RTN3(+), NEG4(-), and RTN4(+).
There are four pairs of DC output wiring terminals LOAD1: NEG5(-), RTN5(+), NEG6(-), RTN6(+),
NEG7(-), RTN7(+), NEG8(-), and RTN8(+).
NEG(-) is a wiring terminal for the 48 V power cable and RTN(+) is the one for the RTN(+) power
cable.

1. Category C environment refers to ocean surface, outdoor land near pollution sources, and places with
weak shield (for example, a canopy).
2. The outdoor land near pollution sources refers to the following areas:
l
3 km away from severe pollution sources such as a metal production plant, a coal mine, and a
thermal electricity plant and 2 km away from moderate pollution sources such as a chemical plant,
a rubber mill, and an electroplating plant
1 km away from light pollution sources such as a food product factory, a leather product factory,
and a heating boiler factory

The BBU3806 and transmission equipment can be installed in the APM30. The APM30
has a built-in power system to supply 48 V DC power to distributed base stations and
transmission equipment. It also charges the batteries in the APM30 cabinet.
The transmission equipment in the APM30 transmits signals to distributed base stations.
The BBU3806 installed in the APM30 processes baseband signals for distributed base
stations.
In the absence of mains, the built-in battery group of the APM30 supplies 48 V DC power
to distributed base stations and transmission equipment. A group of 48 V 12 AH, 48 V
24 AH, and 48 V 36 AH built-in batteries in the APM30 are used for power backup.
The BBU3806 and transmission equipment can be installed in the APM30 cabinet. The
